December 12, 20241 yr Controversy in Portrait Artist of the Year last night. For the 2nd year running, the judges (& what a pretentious bunch they are) overlooked the obviously talented Portrait artists and opted for the quirky, different but not as good option. Last years winner painted Lenny Henry for the national gallery. He favvered Leon off Curb your enthusiasm.

December 25, 20241 yr Gavin & Stacey was worth the wait, up there with the most laughs from any of the previous episodes. So weird to have had it as an (on/off) constant for most of my adult life and all of a sudden it’s finished.
