  • Ah, those lads who wanted their country back , upset by foreigners who came over on boats pinching  all the houses and land and changing the native culture and not assimilating into it.  thought you

  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

I can remember years ago a young Reese Dinsdale in a film/drama where he was coerced into him and another young bloke dressing as coppers and driving around in a mk11 cavalier, don't think i saw it all the way through.

Any ideas anyone??

TAKERS

was shit

so called based on the Sweeny

Onto 4th episode of s2 of Showtrial. Pretty good. Adeel Akhtar is top class as the main lawyer character in it

Started watching last night

Can't believe how young Reece Dinsdale looks, and he's 25 at the time

Mind you I only ever imagine him in ID and it was another 11 years before that

Watched it for the first time tonight, so unrelentingly bleak.

It just gives you nothing, no hope whatsoever.

Missus had me watch the first ep of a new series called Sweetpea last night. An psycho young bint on a murder spree. Shite.

2/10.

F-k me, you weren't wrong. What a grim, grim watch. I implore anybody to watch this and still say we should abandon Trident

Challenge accepted! I'd abandon it tomorrow.

Just watched the first half again. Scared the bejesus out of me the first time round. Despite its age it still carries an impact doesn't it? Watched the Nicola Bulley thing earlier too. It's been a grim evenings viewing that.

Struggling pal. Now, if you tell me there are scenes where she is connected to a fucking machine and is servicing multiple blokes at the top end I might risk one eye.

Just started watching Mr McMahon on Netflix, quite enjoying it so far if you're into the old WWE.

I actually struggled with Alma’s not normal first and second episode of series 2, but fucking hell just watched episode 3 and it’s brilliant. Looking forward to the rest of it now.

there is an episode of Monsters (about the Menendez brothers) that is cinematic genius. its filmed as a oner, slowly zooming in, focusing on one of them. you only see one face in the entire episode; its practically a monologue

Started it and binned it. Don't do horror. If I want that I'll watch the DMB's play.

Started 'Rivals' too but binned that after one episode too. Plenty of shagging and Doctor Who saying 'cunt' a lot. Too madcap for us.

Got to S2 ep 8 of The Old Man. Intriguing but a bit of a bugger to completely understand wtf is going on.

First season of the old man was vary good

about to start season 2 this week

The Channel 4 documentary 'Undercover with the Far-Right' is well worth a watch

I can already here the guffaws but, in the absence of much decent viewing at present (Showtrial excluded - best on TV atm) the missus and I have been watching 'Steam Train Britain'. Plenty of Bury Bolton Street, Rammy and Rawtenstall clips. Loving every minute. Fire away.

To be honest, I’ve got a slight obsession with watching things like Railroad Australia and Outback Truckers.

Fckin massive engineering, love it.

Some of those train and truck drivers are proper tough lads

Fair play mate. I do love stuff like that.

Every time I get back there is always a visit to Bury Bolton Street to sip some of their excellent oat stout on the platform and watch the steam trains go by. Nice way to while away a few hours.

As a kid they seemed like living breathing animals to me then the engineering side of it kicked in.

Enjoyed Monsters.

Currently on the Zodiac Killer thing on Netflix. Good so far.

Joan was an OK watch, especially as she wore sussies a couple of times!

This program on 2 about Welsh Guards in Helmand is some watch.

Watching Gogglebox for the first time in ages tonight. The two girls from Leeds have swapped shaggable status. The siblings from Blackpool are still the best ones on it.

Bit late to the party

But just watched  Season 1  of

SHOWTRIAL

vary vary good

going to start season 2
