We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Agree to disagree cos as usual you are incorrect.

Exactly, I agree to disagree too, and hopefully you're right.

Crikey, if he’s on 8k a week, can’t see Millwall footing enough of that to let him come here.

I can't see us playing two up front but I wouldn't describe Evatt as a one up front man. He played with two up front at Barrow and started with two up front here.

I stand corrected, I thought IE wouldn't budge from 1 up front evidenced from games in 2021, but he changed it today.  And what a difference, changed the whole outlook of the game, long may it continue.  Well played Baka, pleased for him to be in his natural position and if the Millwall lad is an alternative, given Baka's injury record, bring it on.

Yes, I was surprised to see the way we set up. But fair play to IE for trying something different and it worked. We looked more resolute and balanced

I think two left footed defensive players helps in terms of balance. Allows John to push on with a bit more protection. Similar with Fossey and Jones.

Has there been anything official that they've accepted our bid?

I know Evatt said he'd heard nowt, which suggests they're considering it, maybe over the weekend.

Until that's happened and things are moving, he's their player and it's no surprise they've played him.

I’ve been saying we should go with that formation for weeks, in fairness Evatt probably has thought the same but didn’t have the confidence in the personnel available to charge formation.

Yeah, just keeping himself fit for his next club.😉

Not played much recently through injury, and was withdrawn from the previous squad after feeling a tightness in his hamstring.

Evatt probably quite glad for him to play, especially as he wasn't/isn't likely to play immediately for us as he comes back.

Only weeks? 😃 From day one, playing Doyle up front on his own seemed like a bad joke, and whatever anyone thought of Doyle in league one, he wasn't helped by the formation.  I'm struggling to go along with "give credit to IE for changing to 2 up front", its a bit like changing Crellin or Dixon, yes well done but why did it happen in the first place and why so long to change it?

Perhaps you should focus more on why the self-proclaimed biggest club in the world is about to complete nine years without a domestic title and five years without any trophy at all. Bit shit really isn't it Roger ... you cunt.

United have as many recent titles as Prince Andrew.
