It’s true that he used to annoy me and a lot of folk, and equally true that I frequently didn’t agree with him but neither are the reason I think he should be banned. He should be banned for starting an argument in an empty room, misquoting folk to do it and the fact that the vast majority of his posts are simply to have a go at other people’s opinions whilst rarely having an original thought of his own. Or at least a vaguely interesting one.

I think loans are the same as any other transfer deadlines, (Summer and winter dates) but for clarification I would ask Sluffy or Wanderlust, failing that Masi.

The EFL Championship, the loan window starts and finishes on the exact same dates as the permanent transfer window. 

Following the abolition of the old "emergency loan" loophole for outfield players, all standard loan deals must be fully registered and completed within the official transfer window dates. 

The confirmed EFL Championship transfer and loan window windows are:

2026 Summer Window

Opens: Monday, 15 June 2026

Closes: Tuesday, 1 September 2026 at 23:00 BST

You can, of course, announce before.

I suspect if Dalby has a good season there could be a big money offer in for him, maybe even in January. Hope we're already looking for an young understudy.

7 years is nothing, I've had grudges for 4 decades that I don't even remember why they started. Your attention farming in the financial troubles and your posts since returning are fresh in my mind.

I'd assume he'd be a loan signing for some reason

He also seems to be being described as a midfielder rather than a defender, but sounds like a promising signing either way
