FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

If that’s right (no reason to doubt you) then fair enough. Clearly wants to be closer to home and who knows it might have been a better offer.

He will have known it right through the play offs and still was up there for 3 motm awards - he ended up playing left back in the final and still looked decent.

Well done to him and he’ll get a warm reception from me when we play them this season.

Yes agree he gave it everything and the run from the half way line was epic and when you know you have agreed a deal to another club snd not be here next season snd risk injury but still give it everything you have got for the fans and you’re team mates .
Hope he gets a good reception when he comes back

Tutu turned down a contract to sign for Charlton on a free that’s the real story

The club claim they didn't offer him a contract

Completely agree with these positive reactions for Tutu.

We delight in players joining us, we shouldn't get ansi when someone leaves.

Semantics . They would have had talks the players indicates he is leaving . Dundee united will probably say the same once the player had is offer from Bolton it’s not happened over night . Bwfc would of looked else were once tutu told them of is intensions

They usually go with "couldn't agree terms" or something like that

We had about eight nine players going into their last 12 months of their contracts. Only Sheehan was addressed

So i have no problem with the likes of TuTu, Dempsey, Johnston  talking with other clubs.....All three acted proffesionally and got us over the line.....All will be welcomed back

Exactly not one down tools weather it was a case they were moving to a better deal or were waiting on Bolton getting back after the play offs and risk being out of contract with a broken leg in a play offs .
They will all go down for me as being a great players for the club 32 degrees heat and did it for the club hats off to them all

Who are they paying??

Presumably £950k in wages for 3 years and any signing on fee. Approx £15k a week.

That would apparently make him the second highest paid player at the club, if true

If true it looks like my guess that the lad wanted to move back down to London was accurate. Who knows he could have turned down a new contract here to do that, i suspect we'll never know.

950k over 3 years is 6k per week. Glad you’re not running the club!

That would be more realistic....

Are you Peter Ridsdale?

Tutu upped his game for a new contract,

Worked in our favour and can't fault him

Seems odd that he was holding back for 40 odd games though 😕

I did wonder why he wouldn't cross the halfway line in the normal season.

I'm exaggerating BTW.

I'd say more his game changed massively when he had a fully fit Dubbery with him. Absolute dream pair on that side.

iPhone error (wanker). No excuse. No Dirty Leeds connection here.

Looks like a 25% pay cut from his guesstimated wages with us.

The cynic in me says he upped his game when he realised he was in the shop window.

He played well in the play offs for sure.

Good luck to the lad, i'd have preferred to keep him as a squad player personally but hey ho.

Maybe, impressive if "Albie" (whoever he is) is aware of a salary offer at this stage.

You could probably just tweet Tutu's brother and he'd tell you.

I don't really understand the sentiment in saying players "upping their game". I can't really believe that any go out to play bad, in any game, it's just sometimes players have bad/off games.

@gonzo nailed it.When ACD was fit, Tutu looked better.

Tutu's brother is rumoured to be part of the reason Jordi wasn't offered a deal.
