We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

Ok we're in for Michaล‚ Karbownik at left back, already played in England, speaks English and he's played at a good level, and James Bree at right back from Southampton. Both on a free.

I love ITK ๐Ÿ˜€

Bree just signed new contract with Southampton.

Chesus Christ. That stinks.

And you can't get gravy or mushy peas.

Dempsey close to Bradford Iโ€™ve seen. Decent move for both him and the club. Upgrade on Power and money in the bank

Thought he was nailed on for Blackpool and so did a lot of theirs..

And apparently if we'd have stayed down that lump Fletcher was on our radar.

From Thommo that.

Said the club are keen and ACD willing to get a return done but waiting to see what Brighton decideโ€ฆ

Unlikely I suppose but at least some hope.

He doesn't have to agree to a loan abroad if he isn't particularly keen, but then again, Brighton don't have to agree to send him here again.

Highest bidder i suppose and it would be hard to argue heโ€™d get more out of a season in the champ compared to say the bundesliga

Bigger fish to fry now and Huddersfield falling in to the trap they fell in to last season

Graveyard for strikers. Dion, Alfie May, Joe Taylor....

Of last season's loanees I think ACD and Kenny are the two the club would love back. Less of a clear-cut case with the rest.

Clearly trying to judge whether a player will be Championship standard is key but weighing them up against what else is available and within our financial scope is also a very big deal, and none of us have the complete picture.

All quiet on further outgoings thus far but I imagine McAtee, Randall and Taylor are those likeliest to depart.

With Johnston having gone to Luton and Dempsey seemingly Bradford bound I wonder which of Evatt's ex BWFC contingent will end up at Gloomfield.

Hopefully Randall

I thought he was out of our reach.....No he rocked up at Charlton and did not want to return to Southampton

No i thought for a small time we was signing him

Better not posting anything 90% of the people here have never heard of James Bree

A perfectly realistic signing.

They thought Johnstone was certain to sign as well.

Post away if your knowledge of lower league (non-prem) players is that good.

Some folk like to over post about how good Wembley wasโ€ฆ.

โ€ฆOthers like to save their posts for telling us who is a good signing and who isnโ€™t.

Room for everyone on here ๐Ÿ‘

Why was he on loan to a Charlton team who narrowly avoided relegation then?

Nathan Jones managed him at Luton Brought him to Southampton and took him to Charlton on loan.....He was out of contract at Southampton but they have seen sense and offered him a extension which he has now signed.
