Can take a gamble or two and he certainly would be that

June 10Jun 10 Popular Post Burstow would be a no from me, seen enough to suggest he's just a OK league 1 player
June 10Jun 10 Think our medical team showed last season they could make players more robust. Tutu definitely springs to mind. If they can get the same out of Davies then he’ll definitely be an asset
June 10Jun 10 I think Burstow has ability but is probably a couple of years off being good enoughA no from me

June 10Jun 10 I like Mason, appears a good lad, good team member and has some good attributes, but I do feel top end of L1 might be his ceiling. When he came he was keen to indicate he saw himself as a no9, yet when he's had to play the role when Dalby's been out he hasnt been as effective as him.If we were able to get Kenny back for anything like similar money or on loan again it'd be him over Mason all day for me, offers us pace in behind defenders and pressing ability we didn't have before he came.
June 10Jun 10 Really not sure on Burstow. Solid/good player last season and contributed to promotion. His lack of pace in the second half of season worries me though. Running in treacle. Unless he was carrying an injury or something I think he would struggle to make an impact in the championship. Even if he was “only” £1m I think we can do better. Would love to be proved wrong mind you.Of the two I’d also have Kenny all day long if we can. Edited June 10Jun 10 by Bertie
June 10Jun 10 offer them a 1m take it or leave it for Burstow and Palmer combined.....Hull need the money
June 10Jun 10 Davies is an interesting one. It all depends on something none of us can predict - will he remain fit enough to contribute in the majority of games? If SS/FH think he can then that’s good enough for me.Burstow, for me, would only be a yes if he was was a lot lot less than the £2m Hull paid (completely fished from thin air but £500k or less) and on the basis of him being a squad player. I still think he could be a useful sub, with time also (as a 22 yr old) to develop and better himself. He’s not up there with Kenny as to someone who I think could be signed as a primary striker for the championship.

June 10Jun 10 Popular Post When Mason B was scoring early season I said I had my doubts about him, but whilst he was scoring looked harsh. That day he missed a sitter at Northampton, not really done anywhere near enough to think he could be an effective starter at a higher level. This is first season in ages we will be starting a season needing to improve to even hold our own. We need better players. Burstow for me is not a bad player but equally is not really good at anything, not tricky, not that fast, does not hold up the ball that well. He is young but next season I think we need experience or players that can be effective starters from day one.
June 10Jun 10 Happy with Davies , won’t play every game & expect another LCB if Taylor moves on. Burstow I feel will cost more than we should be paying , 500k max for me .Kenny would be a better signing if we could get him for 1-1.5 mill. Don’t think we’ll see ACD again & not desperately disappointed, he seemed to have lost that oblique turn than just left defenders for dead after his injury not saying I wouldn’t welcome him back though !
June 10Jun 10 Ben Davies didn't play much last season for a relegated team (10 games) partly due to injuries.
