FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Signed a few days ago.

The club are just waiting for a few more meltdowns to occur, before announcing.

Good wumming, I respect that.

Could be related to when the club want the transfer cash to appear on the books, if they do it before tomorrow doesn’t it go onto last years numbers. Meaning that when the full years numbers come out we'll look better for last year than you might expect, which could be part of them preparing/ touting us for external investment/ takeover. Just a guess.

Some of the replies. Jesus.

Ive had to stop going on the comments section . Its really not good for my rage .

O’Rourke announcing this too - he seems to call things right.

The Liverpool Echo tweet has a few disgruntled scousers commenting - they rate him and aren’t happy at losing a promising graduate.

Maybe there will be some sort of buy back clause if he's that highly thought of.

Or then again, maybe he wants to join a team on the way up, not down...

While I hold the BEN comments section in high esteem. I can only imagine the echo being full of gillingham or Nigerian scousers😂

That said in all seriousness another long term target landed by all accounts. Excellent

Heard something funny, supposedly Fergal has been frustrated by the talk of new investment as a result of the movement of shares behind the scenes, because some of the players and agents we're talking to right now have seen it as an excuse to ask for silly money. So this talk of a bottom 2/3 budget etc is them playing a game to try to bring down wage demands.

Wouldn't surprise me if true; have heard Fergal not afraid to walk away when they're asking silly numbers

Thats what i Thought

The names I heard last week are starting to pop up on Twitter now, so I believe Ibrahima Balde a striker from the French 2nd league and Akin Famewo a left back/centre back from Hull are done apparently.

I know absolutely nothing about either of them.

Some interesting comments below.

Filled in at left back.

“We won 6 of the 7 games he started, including beating Boro and and Southampton, got 4 clean sheets in those 7 as well. Proper underrated”

“Already commented about him starting 7 and winning 6 of them but just been looking at his stats and they’re a joke. Got dribbled round once in all 15 total appearances and we conceded only 5 with him on the pitch”

“Bring him home swfc”

Me neither but they sound great. This is the madness of summer. If we dont get em now, I'll be gutted!

If I was you I'd go around poking wasps nests, it'd be less painful

The lad at Hull seems to be a carbon copy of Ben Davies and has been in and around lge1/Championship for a good few years. Conways playing time next season seems limited. The forward from France seems a roll of the dice and could be anything, we could get 10m for him next season or he could flop......These are the gambles the club needs and if he can get Kenny in on the last day i will be more than happy with the way the club is heading.
