Id keep

Baxter

Hutch

Cogley

Jones.

I reckon they’ll all go though except maybe Cogley.

Unsure on Baxter.

Good keeper. Ruined by the decision made at Cambridge last season. Different player since. Hopefully can be brought back to his best by Schuey

Possibly keep Baxter. Dunno about Hutch. I would free the rest and build a different, meaner back four.

A big meh to all of them, can't say id be sad to see anyone go.

If Schumacher can get Rico back to his best then signing him would be a no brainer but as he has been this season then off you pop.

For me:

Baxter (but expect he'd want to leave)

Cogley

Baxter will want to go unless he re-establishes himself as #1.

If SS can get Santos back to being the player we know he can be then it'd be foolish to let him go.

Id also keep Cogley but also look to sign some serious competition for him.

The rest can go.

Assume we'll sign one of the 3 out of contract right backs JDC is the best of the 3 I guess

I'd hang on to Baxter.

For me, Baxter’s a better keeper and shot stopper. I’d be keen to see if his distribution would improve now evatts gone. There’s no doubt southwoods distribution has looked much better but it coincides also with the charge of manager. There’s not much in it but Baxter is just that little bit taller which gives him the edge for me. He’s pulled out some fantastic saves in his time here and that shouldn’t be forgotten

Baxter was great till he got injured

Southwood deservedly number one at the moment

Got a feeling Santos has already switched off and is just running down his contract. The abuse he and his family got was absolutely pathetic. A minority of thickos can do a lot of damage. Quite amazed nobody came in for him in January. I'd love to see him return to the team and get back to his best, but can't see it.

Agree with all that.

I was thinking that. I've not been his greatest fan but who knows, new formation new boss. Hope SS can get him back in the frame.

If SS can get Santos back to his best in terms of dominating forwards and not having to ponder passes then fucking great

Don't think he will though

Once was enough old boy. If he’s switching off because of a couple of tweets well he’s a bit of a wet wipe for me. FWIW I’m not sure that’s the case and I just think he’s not as good as we all thought.

But if I’m wrong he’s been paid a handsome wedge to play for us by all accounts then that is disappointing.

Only one I’d keep is Cogley, and even then only as a squad player

Baxter had a better view of that goal last night than 1,200 of us

I hope to God we keep Cogley. Another who's been subject to abuse from a few dickheads on Twitter despite being such a consistent performer for us.  It's hard seeing Jon Dadi or Randall Williams knocking them in for other sides but their injury records suggest it was right to let them go. By contrast, Cogley never gets a rest!

I think full squad overhauls are tricky. 3 less players to find. I’m not strongly opinionated either way though. I actually only see Cogley staying.

So as far as you're concerned, sending abuse to someone's wife and kids should be considered part of their job, and have no effect on their morale as long as they're earning a decent wage?

Very true, the more we get rid of then the harder it becomes. Just feels like we need a clean sweep and refresh, but then again hopefully SS can achieve that over the coming months.

Arguments both ways, but looking at it in the round, there was one particular pillock having a go at his wife.

No doubt a number of others also having an unduly personal pop on social media.

That pales into virtual insignificance given the support he was given on the terraces and elsewhere in the media once the stories were revealed.

He is likely to be trolled wherever he ffinishes up, so yes, it will have been upsetting for him, but he does need to be a bit stronger.
