We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

I remember being at Goodison park and watching Rooney turn him inside outside all afternoon tearing him a new one in the process

Also getting tackled by a Tesco bag that had blown on the pitch

Legend

He looked like a pub player that night at Sunderland :D

I may be looking at this different to everyone else but I’m fairly pleased we didn’t bring anyone in.

It would have been rushed and the squad is already too big.  I think the big issue we have is the positions being lob sided and probably over stocked in some and under stocked in others.

Schumacher will have this time till summer to have a proper weigh up of the squad.

Im not writing this season on off but a little bit of me thinks it may not be a disaster if we stay down. Schumacher has proven he can deliver a 100+ season and if we can then I’m all for that. We then get a stronger team going into the championship.

Id take promotion now obviously just can see the benefits of him getting more time.

Hopefully he can get every single one of em on board for the run in as I’m sure everyone will play their part at some point till the end.

Still think Mcatee is our big asset to unlock. Schumacher needs and hopefully will get a tune out of him.

Happy clapper

It's not goals we need though. Only Birmingham, Wycombe and Stockport have scored more than us, and their GD's are +27, +25 and +16. Ours is 0. We need to stop conceding so many.

Fair point. A good run of games where the opponents score 0 will breed confidence and start to make the GD a help not a hindrance.

Not sure I'd want us to become Burnley, boring the arse off their own fans, but their stingyness is remarkable

Have you lost your mind?

There wasn't much there to lose to start with, but why not? New manager, fresh perspective, look how well the defenders are playing under JD, we would have driven them to any destination to get rid of them under the previous regime.

Hierro looked like had he just come out of the pub at Norwich.... That didn't work out too badly either.

You need to have a word with your dealer. He's obviously cutting it with Ajax or something.

Funny old game is football.

I recall Lineker & Lawrenson actively laughing at his performance.

Shows why they never became managers. Pricks.

Wasn't Campo's  Bolton debut as a late sub in the last  league win at Man Utd?  It felt good to send on a Champions League winner to protect the lead at OT.

Yeah, 90th minute sub and then scored on his home debut v Liverpool 3/4 days later.

Rodney Marsh called Campo a clown .

Sam commented that Campo had a European cup winners medal & that Marsh had never won anything close to that.

Shortly after that Marsh was jettisoned from sky for some inappropriate comment.

Served him right the posing twat.

Is that where the player leans on a lamp post on the corner of a street?

His nickname at Real Madrid was "the ebony tripod"

Lineker must be devastated he didn't get to have the managerial career of so many of his contemporaries, scraping by he is😃

He's struggling. All that chatting and he's only amassed >£30 million, but he does have advertising contracts and owns the UKs most popular podcast company (Goalhanger) and a property company.

The lad must really miss the opportunity to work all week only to get slagged off by fans and pundits alike until he gets sacked.

He gets slagged off by far more than just a few footy fans and pundits lusty and deserves every insult thrown at him the conceited little shit.

OK a lot. Bastard wants our money to be spent on public services instead of going into the pockets of foreign companies and corporate shareholders and has had the temerity to say as much. String him up! :)

Then happily takes money for his corporate interests from countries with questionable human rights.

I saw that game at Goodison and Rooney did indeed take the piss. Once Campo had settled into a position he liked though he was happy as a dog with two dicks. Even in his pub player days he looked like he was enjoying it. Something we could do with now.

And that Tesco bag could move a bit don't forget.
