Carried his form over to Huddersfield by the look of it.

Got subbed at half time today and his replacement scored the equaliser

Fuck me, Mcatee was being called fit to burn in that first half behind me.

Made sure I made my feelings know at 1-3 😁.

He then had the gall to say it wasnt me  while going on to sing his song

I don't like the fact that the whole structure has had to be dismantled because Evatt wasn't performing if I'm honest.

The whole point of having these other roles is so the whole club doesn't implode when a head coach leaves, as we did with Allardyce.

The club has been at pains to point out that Evatt had the final say on all players so I'm not sure why Markham is now going - did he only give duffers for Evatt to choose from...? All looks a bit chaotic

Maybe he wants a change

Sacked ?
Other job ?
Too closely associated with Evatt ?
Does Schumacher have one of his own ?
Someone did analysis of the last 18 months ?

I don't understand how we've stockpiled neat, tidy, lightweight, ball playing midfielders.

How we signed winger after winger for a guy who then tries to convert them to wing backs.

How they appear unable to find a proper centre forward. Or hard midfielder.

Even on loan.

Seen a mate of mate this evening that is a Huddersfield fan. He went to the game today, as soon as he seen me tonight he let rip with his unflattering assessment of him. Not at all happy about his contribution so far.

I fear he peaked with us, and I for one feel for Dion a bit there. Yes he tailed off but overall was great for us.

I think it's fair to say his head has gone since the whole online drama of his shagging around and subsequent daughter he wants nothing to do with

When they signed Charles and it was clear Koroma was going to be making way, I thought straight away they were weakening their attack, judging by how Koroma played against us and the type of player he is (relatively strong, can head a ball) compared to Charles (weak, no heading).  Huddersfield still haven't scored at home this year.

From the outside looking in Huddersfield seemed to be doing alright and had a shot at top two

Then spent nearly £4m on two strikers in January and only today win their first game in six since doing so

Between them one goal in six

Looks like they didn't need new strikers

Spending money striving for improvement, but weakening the team, who'd have thought it possible.

There's been some seriously bad decisions made at our club since Jan 2024.

Tactics.

Team selections.

Recruitment.

Departures.

You forgot "hanging on to a failed manager with psychological issues far, far too long".

It was clear his head had gone as early as the Summer where he 'took time out to see if I still wanted it'. It was more than clear after Huddersfield, Stockport & Wigan. Repeated over December.

To let him buy & sell into January was stunning. To THEN bin him, bringing in a new guy with only days of the window left ... unbelievable.

Such as?

I was dismayed when Dion left but he's hardly ripping up trees.

Schon and Tutu have been decent additions. So has Matete.

McAtee is work in progress.

Southwood is decent.

Departures. Sending Morley on loan worked a treat.

Big Dan enough said. Iredale and Williams are no miss.

Biggest contentious one is Randall. We really didn't need him.

Probably missed a few but it's not been that bad imo.

Probably because he was shit in the first half.

What happens if we go up?

who’s fault is it

Iles suggesting Etete was the final straw for Markham. Does seem to make sense as he played a big part in picking Schumacher. Feels like they’ve weighed up Jan and aren’t happy. Again I think a change seems fair enough to me. Wish him well and all that.

Evatt made a lot of the Bradley and Trafford city and Liverpool link at the time saying they trusted us with there players and clubs were throwing players at us for loans ect and it looked a promising link up .
Then a total change of tac saying we had moved on from loan signings to permanent. Never really made any sense saying the way he wanted us to play were not getting anyone close to a Bradley unless it’s a loan

Think we need to break this cycle of it’s ok to accept poor performances though.

he won’t have got anywhere as much as Cogley will have despite not being on the pitch

There’s having a moan, then there’s going into the territory where it’s just vile, abusive and moronic behaviour.

I don’t know why some bother paying out hundreds of pounds following us when it makes them so angry.

What kind of lives do these plant pots have where they spend their hard earned getting coked up, so that they can travel 100s of miles to throw some abuse at someone who’s had a poor first half? 🤣

I took my missus yesterday, fortunately we had a great day, but these idiots don’t help.

I’ve done more sober away days over the past few years and it’s eye-opening to say the least. There are some absolute delinquents following us and they tend to flock together in a sheep mentality - each of them is trying to outdo each other with ridiculous shouts or shit songs made up on the spot and the rest usually join in.

It’s not a BWFC thing though, it’s just a reflection of a few thousand football fans - there will always be a few clowns. They just tend to be the loudest.

Aye, hard to look at the money spent in the last 18 months as good value currently so pretty pleased we're going to give someone else a try.

And having loan signings as key players the last 2 seasons including last year when we should have gone up - clear there's an upgrade we're missing out on without them.

If only a premier team had a promising young 32 y.o. shit house midfielder we could take.

Think people forget Bolton is a bit rough sometimes when they are shocked by our fans behaviour
