June 12, 20251 yr Last season we never troubled the teams for promotion or playoffs apart from a brief spell when SS came in apart from that we were a top 10 team otherwise evatt would not of got binned Not replacing Charles was a mistake and ended hope of a push removing Collins goals and we would have been struggling collins Sheehan and Morley are the only ones worth keeping and building a team around but you need money to rebuild anyway the transfer window is shut so he isn’t going anywhere till at least Monday
June 12, 20251 yr I like Collins, he has that touch of sparkle about him. Unfortunately, we don’t see it often enough. The downside being that when we don’t, there’s no workrate, no physical presence. Back end of last season, he resorted to shooting from anywhere and in any 1 on 1, looked to go down at the first opportunity. I think the refs even got on to it and he wasn’t getting decisions because of it. If we can replace him with a big lad who has pace, strength and an eye for goal then I’d take it all day. I said it before but the lad at Stockport or Kone for me. I’d even consider Poku to go out wide as an alternative depends on wages though as I think his contract is up and on a free

June 12, 20251 yr Looks like we’ve signed that Simons lad who was on loan at Wycombe. His stats don’t scream out CDM he has less fouls/ tackles/interceptions than Sheehan but apparently he can play midfield & right back plus he’s a 6fter so hopefully he’s a physical lad.
