Took a gamble with manager though this first time former coach appointments done well last couple few seasons in L1

He’s in Slovakia with England for the U21 UEFA Championships, so no PSG until he’s back I guess.

They've got some money to spend apparently. I'd never heard of any of them either - but if they're being snapped up by clubs who you'd expect to be towards the top of League 1 then I expect they'll be decent.

Well the fact you’ve never heard of any of them says more about you than the players. The best part for Huddersfield is that these are all proven players courted by teams above and all of them on frees. Low at 22 is already a full Wales international and at 6’ 5” would have been a great partner for Forino and Roughan also at 22 has already shown enormous potential at Lincoln, played every game last year and no history of injury. If you haven’t heard of Ledson then that’s your problem too, well proven at a higher level. As I say, all signed on frees whilst we’re looking at paying significant amounts for an unproven Hull full back who lowly Hull don’t consider good enough for them and similarly a potential half a million for a midfielder who they also don’t want. We did this last year and whilst we have to trust Schu and Fergal to get things right it does worry me that we’re being outcompeted already by teams like Huddersfield, decent as they are they aren’t bigger than us.
