I'd be disappointed to see him go, but it's down to the manager to sort out his team, so we'll see who is brought in.

As for his stats: there were plenty hailing his assists numbers, which, although not my favourite stat, nevertheless illustrate a bit about what he brings.

15 goals isn't many, as you say, but Dalby has only achieved that this season too, and little beforehand.

In which case he would need to keep that rate up, as well as provide for others.

I'd be surprised if anyone was hailing his assist numbers. 4 last season, two in the half-season he was with us the year before. Thomason has more in the same period.

Wonder if this means we might see Morley a bit further forward?

Hopefully he's that far forward he's on a train from Horwich Parkway out of here :)

Gutted if Collins does leave, but it’s another Wembley bottler chalked off the list. He will be the 7th of the starting 11, with Baxter, jones, santos, maghoma, ogbeta and charles.

After that Oxford game I didn’t want to see any of them again.

Really? You don't rate him?

Does anyone rate any of last season's squad. We can't replace everybody. Were a 1st division club with 1st division players. Some fans need a reality check.

We also can’t keep hold of players people offer us a good profit on. We are a league 1 side. Some fans need a reality check

Not sure how long Collins has left on his contract, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s his agent trying to get us to extend his stay here.

I don't get that sense at all

Tbh not really pal. Not for where we want to be anyway.

See I quite like Morley and always have done. He'll probably head to Wycombe now like! 😂

Morley got better with every game he played for Wycombe.

He wasn't their physical defender, their big target man or their pacy wide man that made their system work. He was functional, a cog in a wheel. He'll be okay if we go the same way. I think we'll be more two dimensional and hope he'll be good enough, he's still young and does have ability.

You mis-understand my point.

Upon his arrival, it was very much the source of debate.

Hence the comparison with our new man.

I'd like us to keep him, as when on form he's excellent.

Plenty were inconsistent last season, but with more bollocks in the side, I reckon he would thrive.

I was told yesterday he’s only just bought a house in Westhoughton. With the fact it’s Mk dons, I think he’s been told and that’s that.

Reet,  who's next in ?   Once this keeper is announced then more fans will be seeing the cut of ss and sharkeys jib.

3 signings - young players and an improvement on last seasons shower.

I still have in my head we will see 6 first xi signed and then a couple of so called subs.   Some have to go and if collins is one them so be it, he is more than replaceable

If the club does not come out first thing this morning and say it is rubbish then i am afraid he is as good as gone.

Maybe a bidding war because at this level Collins is quality

I’m sure there will be a lot of changes before next season starts and it seems that several other clubs have ambition and money to burn and compete with the three clubs that came down from the Championship so we won’t know where we stand until a few games in. My general feeling is that several of last season’s squad could be great if they had different players around them so I’m not writing anyone off just yet. Comes down to what Schuey wants - after all it’s his show now.
