We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

I'm still to see the point of Wilbraham

Perhaps he's Parkinson's Robbie Blake - good to have in the dressing room whatever that's supposed to mean  :rolleyes2:

lets get a grip here ffs. He has had 4 good games. He is doing well and is good news. Could you blame him for going because someone in the esl said he was shite!!! The games gone

yeah, lets get a grip

for me, that means not coming out with nonsense like its been 4 good games

4 good games

Hes been brilliant for 18 months now.

Apparently he has been brilliant for 18 months. I must of missed that.????

Anyway I'm not here to knock him (I don't want him to read this and leave) think everyone agrees he is doing well so as stated before long may it continue

I took the 18 months brilliance claim to be somebody trying to outdo your nonsense. :)

We didn’t win without him last season, we wouldn’t have been promoted without him last season.

He’s now joint 5th in terms of goals and assists in the league this season - a league most people said that he couldn’t play in at the start of the season.

He’s got a number of clubs sniffing around him and putting in ‘7 figure’ bids for a reason.

In the main he has been brilliant for a season and a half, but then again there are quite a few people that were very vocal against him and shouted very loudly so are either now keeping quiet, some are accepting that they have changed their minds (fair enough) or some come up with bollocks like he’s had 4 good games.

Oh and he didn’t play against Sheff United for an unknown reason last season so we need to still hold that against him too.

4 good games

There's brilliant and doing the job he's employed to do.

He's a target man. The least we can expect is that he puts a shift in and win some headers.

For every fan waiting to get on his case there's plenty more wanting to wank him off for winning a flick on.

I heard from the same bloke who said Cardiff wanted him that Madine likes the money Cardiff are offering. Take from that what you will. I personally think he s wanting a better deal but who knows

I genuinely think he was brilliant for us last season. And even better first half of this.

Pivotal from start to finish last season

And stepped it up loads this season

You reward your better players with better contracts

Within our pay structure he needs offering the maximum

Players couldn't give a flying fuck about loyalty

When you have fans like Pinky who can blame them?

We didn’t win without him last season, we wouldn’t have been promoted without him last season.

I understand your point but it's slightly flawed in that, yes, if you take away his contribution last season then the table would be very different but that same point assumes we played all season with only 10 men and no target man/striker.

There is a massive unknown which means you can't assume.

I'd say he was on the maximum within our pay structure.

There's no secret we are skint.

All this is a ploy to take the heat off Ken when he fucks off anyway.

I see what you are saying, but he didn't play in at least 9 league games last season and we won 0.

Maybe that was due to us sticking to a formation and way of playing that didn't suit without a target man?

When he got subbed on Saturday.

I still reckon a few were booing madine rather than him coming off for wilbraham / not le fondre.

Unless Madine was injured subbbing him for Wilbraham was baffling. Wilbraham did everything in his power to make it seem like a fucking stupid idea.

It was odd. Madine must of said something felt tight.

If Madine does get injured we well and truly are fucked

Madine has been playing well enough to earn the maximum we can offer. Cardiff are clearly going to be able to beat our wage offer but madine deserves the maximum given his importance to this team.

Dont be silly mate. You can't just say he is alright and been playing well recently in a team that's built round him. He won us promotion on his own and is incredible.

I'll say it again that I'm not knocking him and he has started playing WELL and long may it continue I'm just not that mad on blowing smoke up his arse for what had been until a few games ago a very average bwfc career

He did, his wages!

you cant expect a sensible conversation when you say hes had 4 good games

Tomski, I realise Madine splits the fans but there are those who have ignored his importance.

For example, last season after we sneaked home 1-0 home to Rochdale he had one of those games when he had three brutes around him all game. He worked tirelessly to win flick ons and hold it up for others mostly without effect through no fault of his own. On here after the game Mr meldrew was slagging him off which was incredible for the work Madine had put in up front on his own.

A Parky team needs a good target man and we have got one. I hope we still have on Feb 1st.

He's had an average career at best and this is a high point for him. Balance is whether we bank on it continuing or we gamble that it won't and cash in whilst he's at his most valuable in the market.

That funding gap won't plug itself after all.

I didn't say that. He has played well in his last 4 to a very high standard. Will have had a few others in between sure.

I'm not even sure he is splitting fans at the moment as he is doing a good job and I think everyone is behind him. I just disagree he has been on fire for 18 months.

This is team is built for him and I'm glad he is doing the business
