I have loads of praise for them, but we are fighting relegation and first chance to sign players with money in 2 years. Why have we only recruited just 1 player, on loan? There is a weird perception that there are loads of people wanting to stick their cash into clubs. Most clubs wait years for takeovers and most takeovers don’t end up meaning what everyone thought. There are probably only a handful of clubs in this league where the owners are genuinely funding their transfer activity in a meaningful way, Our club has been up for sale for years. Nobody wanted it off Eddie and seems like the only bloke willing to take it off Ken’s hands was a wrong un. Quote
