Not sure what game that was the other week but he certainly wasn’t the best on the pitch against us

He was more of a threat than any of our lads.

Back in the days of Club Call and Teletext it was transfer deadline day and not the bloody month long window.

You just don’t get that feeling that the Andersons are doing everything to get more investment in.

I have loads of praise for them, but we are fighting relegation and first chance to sign players with money in 2 years.

 

Why have we only recruited just 1 player, on loan?

There is a weird perception that there are loads of people wanting to stick their cash into clubs. Most clubs wait years for takeovers and most takeovers don’t end up meaning what everyone thought.

 

There are probably only a handful of clubs in this league where the owners are genuinely funding their transfer activity in a meaningful way,

 

Our club has been up for sale for years. Nobody wanted it off Eddie and seems like the only bloke willing to take it off Ken’s hands was a wrong un.

Indeed, the reality is that we are not attractive to investors. It will be interesting to see how the Barnsley takeover affects them.

I might be daft given his career nosedive, but I’d have been happy to take a chance on him. 34 next month though, so let’s hope he’s finished.
