Wouldn't mind us going in for that Cashin, LCB / LB, who I thought looked decent for Derby when we played them.  Was farmed out on loan to Blackburn in the second half of last season.  Would be a decent replacement for Johnston IMO.

great shout that. would be a brilliant signing

For goodness sake, he’s only played two seasons at a senior level, just what do some of you expect from the lad? He’s still very much at the learning stage and for me has all the necessary attributes to be a very good left wing back. Yes he gets caught out of position sometimes but that’s down to learning that ability and the coaching he receives. I’ve absolutely no doubts that Max will play LWB for us this season and expect him to grow and improve quickly with better and more experienced heads around him. I’ve no doubts also that Schuey will sign a more experienced left back but that can only be beneficial for Max to compete with and learn from. This lads the brightest prospect we’ve had for years and whilst of course you’re entitled to your opinions, the only one that really counts is Schuey and I’m certain he’s 100% behind Max.

Are you sure you’ve quoted the right person?! 😂

Thought I’d been pretty positive and fair on his contribution this season and what role he may or may not have to play next season 🤷‍♂️

Not sure I'd describe him as purely an attacking midfielder going off his highlights.

Looks like he can do a bit of everything.

Very promising indeed.

Hopefully a younger ,less injury prone better version of dempsey. Be a good one to keep an eye on in pre season. Hopefully he's our version of John Mcginn.

I'll go with that.

I reckon injuries robbed us of the best of Dempsey. Nevertheless he always seemed committed, and that's what every player should give, even if the quality isn't quite there.

Id imagine there would be a fair bit of interest in Cashin. Shane Duffy is on a free. 34, good experience in prem and champ. Tall , would be a good partner for Forino IMO. Might lack a bit pace now but if the wages are ok i wouldn't mind having him on board.

I've certainly heard someone of that ilk is on the cards, not him though.

Great number of first team appearances at that age so not hugely inexperienced. Seem we got him much cheaper than would have been the case in January.

Fergal H reckoned "four or five before the players return for pre-season". Stephenson may well be the second of those. I see we have gone through 16000 season tickets too now.

Uplifting times to be a white.

Seamus Coleman?

He got a mention from us over the play off final weekend (because Baines and some of the coaching staff jogged past).

Apparently very keen to keep playing - doubt he’ll look to move from the North West and he isn’t moving to another prem club. Pretty well known to be the best of the best in terms of squad presence / behind the scenes stuff. If his legs are still there then I’d have him in, although you wouldn’t be doing it if Christie is genuinely sticking around as our second right back, it’d be like Dad’s army down that side.
