If we want Parky to play football rather than the hoof then Pratley and Henry aren't the players for that.

For all their graft and hard work the majority of their passes will have been sideways or backwards to the centre half to punt up field.

 

Not a slight on either player they did a good job in their roles and Henry was the catalyst in solidifying the side after our appalling start.

Yeah thats the difficult part, that next step in dev.

 

Is it better at Bolton U23 or at a cat 1 set up, then getting a loan back to Bolton or other Champ club ?? Not sure what the answer is, but all depends on the individual.

 

But players like him can bring some much needed money into the club.

 

We spent £6 millon on a 16 year old from Newcastle last season, silly money.

He doesnt get much game time with U23's....although he is only 20, we have a polish keeper thats ahead of him thats rated.

 

Never know with keepers till they fully fill out.
