Agreed.  Gets stick for some reason, but a superb championship level player.  How we ever got him to play in the 3rd tier at his age then, I've no idea.  Looked like Forest's main attacking threat whenever I watched them in last couple of seasons.  And one of football's nice guys too, like his brother who was also low profile and underrated in my opinion.

I always thought he just needed that close coaching and man management, massage his ego and blow smoke up his arse for his confidence. Definitely a player in there

Don't know him from Adam but played 179 games for them & is in the recent League 2 'PFA Team of the Season'.

Obviously Evatt knows what he's after, but I'd had my eyes on Cannon, the Pompey lad.

I posted a little video of Sheehan a week or two back- seems IE was watching.  😁

 

Don't know anything about Sheehan or Cannon for that matter but if it improves the squad, i'm all for it. We need to move a few in contract players who aren't going to play much, out. Darcy, Crawford & Gordon in particular

Be buzzing with that, can see why IE rates him. Should fit into the way we want to play like a dream, no surprise he's one of our top targets we want to get done early as he won't be lacking interest
