He's worth whatever someone will pay.

Why 6m, and not 1m?

All fees at the top are ridiculous.

£18 million more than they paid for Sterling.

Bonkers money.

You're right, I've looked deeper into it.

The more accurate real price would be £4,348,436.45 inc. VAT.

Sorry to be so slack. I have my workings out if you need them.

Just be nice to know

Seems odd...hes not from down there, is he?

Did something happen at that Warrington friendly? Someone on Bolton News (I know!) Alluded to some brawl of some sort, accused club & Bolton News of ignoring it. Was a strange thing to say.Wonder if there's a connection?

Around three weeks until deadline day now. Does anybody definitively know how many places we've got going spare in the squad? The rule seems to be that League 1/2 teams are allowed 22 players but keepers and under 21s don't count towards that total. By my reckoning we've got two places spare - could be wrong.

@Mr Grey

I really don’t give a fuck what you think of me or believe

I have absolutely no desire to need to prove to you or anyone else who I am or what I have achieved

All you’ve done in the last few days and weeks is shown yourself up to be a total and utter prick. The messages off posters I got off here at the weekend back it up that you’ve made your self look like a fuckin idiot.
Daz called you a bully, you’re not a bully to be a bully you’d have to be intimidating, scary,  you’re about 5ft who acts like they’re part of a fuckin firm because they go to away games hiding behind your so called elite mates.

You get told to wind it in but you can’t because you’re behind a keyboard the only one carrying  it on.

Pathetic old man.

This aged well

achieved😀😀

We currently have 19 players that count towards the squad limit, so 3 spaces left.

I think we’ll see at least one more come in before the end of the window. Competition for MJ at CDM is a must in my opinion.

Completely agree - even taking it in to account the kid we signed from Norwich looks useful.

Agreed, we don't want to be relying on Nelson if anything happens long term to MJ.

Give him exposure to the first team, play him in some cup games, the odd bit of time here and there but he's got to be allowed to develop his game in his own time - even if that means a spell away on loan.

I'm almost certain we'll bring in a dmf, & possibly an experienced ch to work with Santos. Loan from higher championship my guess.

The current squad looks decent, very decent, but 2 or 3 long injuriea & suddenly it'd be thin. We have the space, money seems available and there'll be clubs looking to offload & players wanting game time. Evatt looks for skill type & attitude so it won't be any old body. My bet is that I'll have never heard of them though.

Or go with what we have got and strengthen in January like the last 2 seasons - didn't work out too bad

It's not an easy task and I expect we're probably right on the limit of our budget already, but ideally I'd like a Williams deputy (I haven't seen him play, but I suppose that could be Khumbeni) and at least one more right wing-back to cover for Bradley.

It's probably very difficult, though, because currently that probably means signing players specifically to be back-up which is not something I think we should be doing.

Agreed, but I'd rather not be needing to repair a poor situation.

Rumours abound that Stockton has turned down the cods?

There a few clubs sniffing around him, would love him to rock up here… sadly think he’ll get bigger better deal elsewhere.
