I think it goes to show how inept the German government is there is no doubt that Merckels heart was in the right place but her though process is completely muddled and the fact she is the power broker in Europe is scary beyond belief, both her and her party need consigning to history and the sooner the better.

Let's not forget that the population of Germany is dropping like a stone, 25% of adult males don't want kids, it's a ticking time bomb. They are desperate for numbers and the 1 million refugees will help the situation.

 

If a few hundred of them turn out to be fanatical nutters then so be it, they will have to deal with it, the other nine hundred and ninety odd thousand will contribute to the greater good

All being well needing workers but surely one million, with little checking is asking for trouble. Too much too soon.

Also, I do wonder if the infrastructure was in place to accommodate them.

No problems with Germany neither, but it does seem they've been hasty.
