City were the commentary game that night and at half time the producers switched to Anfield as they sensed an upset was on the cards...how right they were! Deliberately didn't find out the final score, made sure I'd dropped her off early so as to watch the highlights not knowing the score. Was shitting it until second went in. Rioch (at that point) had never lost at anfield as a player or manager.
