February 21, 20179 yr So I'm not quite getting the point you're making in your first post. We gained 14 points from losing/drawing positions and lost 8 points from winning/drawing positions. You're right in that we should look at the whole season (which was mostly dire) but we had the opportunities to get safe and threw them away at the end of the season and like I said earlier, I'm sure Lee and Holden being fit would have seen us safe, how Coyle would have managed them in that season is anyone's guess, he threw on Lee in that West Brom game and it backfired.

Worst ever substitution and led to our relegation
February 21, 20179 yr Ok diddles ???? Vela was gash and sturridge did very well for us Im saying that was a stroke of luck for coyle
February 21, 20179 yr That Swansea game in October was when i gave up all hope. .. Yep, I wanted him gone then and it's a disgrace looking back that he nearly got another year to turn things around. Our players didn't have a clue and were knackered after 60 minutes every game. We were terrible throughout our relegation season and I'm still amazed we took it to the final day. We absolutely deserved to go down, in what was an appalling Premier League. Bringing on Chungy against West Brom, when he'd been out all season at 2-1 was the worst. It was fucking suicidal in a game that would've kept us up. If we'd gone out of business last year, and even now, I'd lay a lot of the blame on that. Edited February 21, 20179 yr by BWFC_LOVE
February 21, 20179 yr I don't know where to start with coyle so many inept decisions complete fraud . How many times has he got the bullet since he left us must be getting on for half a dozen . Don't understand how clubs keep giving him a go he's a fucking clown .

By throwing away our premier league place when we were so dependent on premier league income. i'd say Coyle was 99% responsible for the club's problems, the prize cunt. Just to twist the knife in, the useless cunt even managed to sabotage our best chance of returning to the premier league, first season down........the grade A prize cunt.

February 21, 20179 yr I'm with Horwich Most managers are ineffective and always on borrowed time. I'd say the only manager in the last 40 years who has made a genuine impact is - I'm sorry to say - old Whisky Nose. Ancelotti and Brian Clough come close. I would confidently say that a team full of good players would do well without a manager.

Nailed it, again On his transfers, he wanted the fella at munich, to get fair to him He would probably play him at left back, mind 12th biggest wage bill in the prem when we went down
February 21, 20179 yr Gutted he's been sacked, I bet the Venkys get Rowett in and fucking stay up now. Hopefully he'll end up at Bury at some point and take them down another league. Actually, just send the cunt to Tranmere and fuck up their season
February 21, 20179 yr Good managers are a very rare breed. I can only think of one and he got a bit lucky. So all managers are shite Does that not just mean that your expectations are artificially high then?
February 21, 20179 yr Does that not just mean that your expectations are artificially high then? Horwich doesn't have high expectations, I think he's made that pretty clear
February 21, 20179 yr Author Nailed it, again On his transfers, he wanted the fella at munich, to get fair to him He would probably play him at left back, mind 12th biggest wage bill in the prem when we went down I seldom agree with you. But Coyle ruined our club. Croyel was shit but he was what we wanted! We were too high on premier league stability on the back of SA (who you hate) to care otherwise.
