Matt Taylor was biased, unprofessionally so IMO.

Appleton too but more understandable as an employee.

But it wasn't a penalty and they got what they deserved.

We were better and deserved to win.

Just watching it back again on Sky+. If you've recorded it, watch for the steward behind the hoardings when Josh Vela scores in the last minute. I'm sure he fist-pumps, thinking Oxford have just scored.

Didn't hear Appletons after match comments, in a nutshell what did the cunt have to say ?

Only bit that stuck with me was that it was never a free kick for our second when Alfie got elbowed.

He must be a different kind of numb cunt to see that we'd subbed Alfie because of said elbow's consequence and still claim it was a shit decision.

Bellend!

Not home yet but fucking hell that was brilliant. Thought we were on the ropes a little bit at 3-2 but did a great job to hold them off then finish the job. Great following. Not so great is I need to be at my lad's Y4 xylophone concert in Wigan in 7 hours. COYWM.

Massive win, gives us a bit of breathing space now. 1 more big effort on Saturday then they have a week to recover.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 or 4 changes on Saturday even if we don't have any injuries, it's been a big ask over the last couple of weeks to keep producing like they have.

Anyhow, I reckon 4-2-2 over the last 8 games will see us home and dry. Bradford and Scunny must be really gutted especially if we win Saturday too. Fleetwood are not a football club so won't be arsed.

Some good performances, Madine led the line brilliantly, Vela ran his gonads off and the usual suspects solid again at the back. Alnwick made so crucial saves too but his kicking is poor. Cracking fingertip save from that blockbuster shot

4-2-2? Where are the others going to play?

Thought Danny higginbottom sounded gutted when our fourth went in . Him and Appleton were probably at the filth at the same time . After the match all the talk seemed to be about how unlucky oxford were . Fuck em :-)

For the penalty claim, I reckon;

1. The incident started outside the box

2. The fall was caused by the Oxford player's trailling leg back-heeling the defender's shin pad

3. He then felt his own contact and wen't down

Result, book the cheating bastard!

Be surprised if one of theres earned more than Derik or even Clayton

Wilkinson even

.

Also be surprised if they have to go cap in hand to ask permission to play a kid from the reserves we've been paying all season.

Great night. My shins are in bits from all the celebrating.

Highlight - running the length of the stand to celebrate the Vela strike. Just pipping the moment when the steward curled a ball back to the keeper and proceeded to turn to his steward mates and talk them through it. Brilliant.

Lowlight - our taxi driver taking a 'shortcut' back to the station and in the process missing our train back to London. All stopping service back with no beer. On the plus side I don't feel too bad today.

Made it the 25 rows down to the front after Vela's goal, only to have my route onto the track/pitch blocked off by some pensioner/K&F types. And now I can't walk, might have to be wheeled into the away end on Sat

That fucking shot from their left back, we were right behind it...what a save. Did they show on telly how far out it was?

Fun day out. Looks like it's all falling into place for us at just the right time.
