stevieb Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Anyway first time back in that scotts or whatever it's called and it's wank don't even sell crisps It's not sold crisps since it was Jeffersons. Not even sure it did then either. Quote
clown Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 POTY Madine, each to their own but Christ on a bike. We missed him today, and he's done well in some games. POTY must come from Wheater or Beevers - who have taken the job by the scruff of the neck all season and even started doing the job of the forwards. Quote

Gave DW dogs abuse on here back end of last season but he's been immense for us this season. Quote
Ghana White Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 I'm not a massive madine fan to be honest although he's put in a couple of good performances lately. Missed him today just for having a big bloke in the box from Morris crosses, would take two defenders and give le fondre space. Quote
frank_spencer Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Madine is vital to how we play. Without him we need a player like Mavies who can pick a pass. A few balls into the box today that Madine would've been on the end of. Quote
Lostock Whites Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Thought I'd mention as well, that our attendance was better than 3 matches in the Premier League. It just goes to show that the potential is there. Quote
The Wanderer Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Madines the new Muamba, dont realise how much we miss them until their not playing. It was great seeing The Macron so busy today, my lads 6 year old and started watching us in the championship, i tell him stories of us beating United, Arsenal, Liverpool etc at The Reebok and how it was sold out and booming. He looks at me like im talking shite, he was buzzing to see so many wanderers today. Shame the players didnt rise to the occasion but i put that down to a bad day at the office. We'll win at Scunny. Quote
Walkden White Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Always happens. Big crowd, big expectations and fail to deliver. Mind you we have been poor at home for some time. The number of second balls the opposition win at home amazes me. Still 7 points away from third! Quote
Ani Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Midfield seemed off the pace today. Not seen Spearing have such a bad game all year. Ok with no big man the ball comes back but first half we never got involved. As mentioned we are nearer promotion than we were at 3 o'clock. Anything at Southend is a massive bonus. Quote

I thought he said, "Fucking five pound wankers, I can't get a decent wifi signal with all these cunts trying at the same time!" Quote
SatanGreavsie Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Th'East Midlands Whites are not too long back and are drinking with cautious optimism. Quote
devil603 Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 we couldn't beat Chesterfield is down to Phil Parkinson not the players. Quote
Rizlar Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Poor game take a draw against Southend and second place will be ours can see us beating Scunthorpe. Quote
Ani Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 we couldn't beat Chesterfield is down to Phil Parkinson not the players. April fools finishes at noon. Quote
gonzo Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 we couldn't beat Chesterfield is down to Phil Parkinson not the players. It's also down to him we are 2nd in the league and haven't been out of the top 5 all season. Quote
Spider Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 we couldn't beat Chesterfield is down to Phil Parkinson not the players. Has the mongfilter been switched off again? Quote
Guest Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 April fools finishes at noon. Good one in the Telegraph; polar bear has made it to North Uist Quote

MancWanderer Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Always gonna happen today. Biggest crowd for years. Nailed on disappointment. We didn't lose, results went our way. One less game for anyone to catch us Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 POTY must come from Wheater or Beevers - who have taken the job by the scruff of the neck all season and even started doing the job of the forwards.I would go Wheater just ahead of Beevers with an honourable mention to Vela who's been excellent. As always ran his bollocks off today. All 3 have hardly missed a game between them. Quote
emus wig Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 I think we will struggle Tuesday but anyone slagging parky off needs to give there head a wobble . He's why we are where we are . Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 April fools finishes at noon. Probably a Bury fan. Quote
Happy Wanderer Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 I think we need to give some credit to Chesterfield as they played us well and got their tactics right. The 3 men up front when we had set pieces really flummoxed us which meant we had less options as in previous games. I know a lot hate Madine but without him the ball doesnt stick and it kept coming back over the midfielders heads. Shit game but a point is a point, move on to the next game. Quote
birch-chorley Posted April 1, 2017 Posted April 1, 2017 Wasn't great today of course but then again I'm not sure we have been fantastic at home much this season, just seemed to grind out results, couldn't quite do that today unfortunately We're on a great run but you don't win every week, it just doesn't happen It's 2 clean sheets on the spin which is good news, first time since November. I think we would get promoted from here with 6 0-0 draws but it won't come to that Quote
