I'm not sure the Trust could make that type of statement given the disagreement regarding the AVC. I'm backing KA on taking club forward but not at the expense of supporting him in the removal of the ACV. Ken must either put money in or find some other way to fund the club or try to pass it on to someone who can.

They can make that statement. With caveats.

 

As for the ACV, the trust should get an expert (neutral one) to spell out exactly the implications, both for them and KA. My big issue is that in a cash poor but asset rich business, securing investment is almost entirely dependent upon borrowing against your assets. IF the ACV hampers that at all, in real practical terms, surely then the Trust should back down. Though I understand they cannot now do anything about it. But I think that is where the issue lies. If an independent expert says it doesn't hamper Ken in that regard at all, fine. But if it does then essentially it has hamstrung him and is something the trust should reconsider.

There are very few fans who don't have at least some sympathy for Parky though. I think the pertinent question is at what point do fans turn on the ownership...I could see that happening before any widespread stuff aimed at the manager.
