Out of interest, why do we need to know? Everything is for sale at the right price. I think Ken's only issue is the way Iles has said that the For Sale sign is up. We've already established Iles is fucking clueless.

As I said, carry on as he is, but maybe start taking a wage. Keep turning the club round and sure as eggs is eggs someone will come along eventually.

I don't disagree, but as he owns the place, he's a bit stuck with it. He won't be able to give it to any tom, dick or harry either as they will have to undergo a fit and proper test.

 

He could appoint someone else as chairman, but the situation still remains; carry on making the club stable and hell get some dosh out of it- whether by a sale or a 'wage'.

This. We need a sustainable model a la Burnley, PKE, Barnsley. That will mean we have to sell players occasionally, so we need to get to a position where we can invest cash in younger players on the way up or grow our own. Can't see us getting another benefactor unless Prescot Business Parks fella or John Roberts has some rush of blood to the head.
