Winding Up Orders

Last I heard, it was court tomorrow

ST and Lies reported 3, including Heathcotes mob

KA said that was old news, leaving 2

Now, I can see HMRC is definitely a club issue, but the other is Sport Shield

If we assume KA can deal with HMRC debt - I'd have been happier if he had sorted that one already, tbf- that 'just' leaves SS and blumarble

If the court agrees to wind up SS, do we know what that means and also the impact on BWFC

  • The harsh reality is that name of the club has been dragged through the dirt in last few years. Massive debts, relegation, players not being paid etc etc.   Go back to when KA was first linked he w

  • Mounts had a word and told them the financial benefit of having a football stadium 300 yards away

  • Imagine that, a site that represents BWFC's hardcore support being pro-the bloke who has saved us from oblivion. Just fucking imagine that.

All this arguing over protecting the stadium, a stadium that is far too big for us, certainly at this level and most definitely if we drop into league one. How many times have we filled it? Just a question for everyone, if Ken could sell the place and re house us nearer to the centre of Bolton with a 20k capacity(more suitable for our needs imo) with some safe standing etc how many fans would be up for it?

I'd be happy for all that, but that's only one way of looking at it. Would I be happy if we sold and shared with Wigan or Blackburn. No chance. Its the not knowing that puts me off

Surely we should be trying to get a team on the pitch that can fill the current stadium I do not agree its too big for us we had over 20k on for Peterborough game last season we could easily fill the stadium if we were top of championship and played one of the teams capable of bring 4k plus, why limit your income by down sizing.

close the upper tiers

Fuck off

Don't want to mix with you :D

Anyway I reckon that these high net worth fictions of someone's imagination put up or shut the fuck up

Plenty to worry about at our club but without doubt it's better now that pre the KA era. When you've got no dough it's inch by inch

You can cry like fuck about it but it's real life and real business

Quite.

Interesting to compare our crowds last season to what they were last time we were down there.

A smaller stadium would also restrict the type of events held in the stadium and therefore other income streams.

If there were high enough net worth individuals who had enough to buy the club, I'd expect Kenny to sell

???????? you prawn sandwich brigade lot would be lost in lower tiers on a cold Tuesday night

As he's made no secret of the fact that his end goal is selling the club on.

If someone can show they've the funds he'd sell in a heartbeat.

Not sure he would sell in a heartbeat as you say.

Asking for 500k for looking at the books which has been rumoured isn't that keen.

I genuinely don't know how this is gonna pan out. One thing I'm confident of I'd whatever way it does pan out then KA has a plan and it will of been planned for sometime

really, we couldn't fill it in the prem let's see how it looks when we've been stuck in league 1 for a few years. And don't call me Shirley

Might as well close the place if that happens. You have to have ambition to get back in the Premier and a full house, as unlikely as it seems. If that is taken away there's not much left at present.

There are obviously a lot of problems with the trust, but to be fair this isn't some radical thought. Supporters Direct presumably have dealt with this type of situation before, and they think there is value in us having it. What's their angle?

One of the major delusions that smurf and Bower seem to have is that there are plenty of people to buy the club. Before the reason people wouldn't buy it was Gartside. Then Eddie. Now its Ken. If only those people weren't around there'd be a queue of billionaires round the block to buy it...

As someone says earlier in the thread, we've got no money so have to run this as a business. Which might not be pleasant as a supporter, but is a necessary evil until someone decides they want to bankroll us. That might mean being less competitive on the pitch and possibly selling stuff we would ideally not want to. But given the club has been up for sale for a long time now both from Eddie then Ken, I think its clear there isn't some billionaire just waiting to do the deal.

If I list all the good things KA has done I would start and end with stopping us going out of existence.

If I accept the ACV thingy is good then that is the ST list of achievements.

I think KA wins.

their only evidence is the rejection of the mistrust offer of a bag of midget gems in return for 10% of the club

Not sure if this has already been covered

Mike, why did you say you wasnt going to be a board member, then ended up a board member?

This was Mikes reply on page 38.

I think all of the Board will put themselves up...Remember last year both me and ian wasn't going to stand, but because the st board legally has to consist of at least 6 board members and nobody else stood, we where asked to step back up or face the ST folding....

I would urge everyone who can to get involved and if you feel you have something to say...then stand in the election... the Supporters Trust isn't mine or Daniels or Maggies.or anybody else...it all of ours... it belongs to all the supporters of BWFC... the more people we have involved, the more diverse it will be and the more it will feel that it represents your view...

it only feels like it doesn't represent the people on here, because there is nobody from here batting you corner...

Its not just here.

People have this place down as some clique that all stick

Together. That's wrong imo. It's as diverse as anywhere online, with bolton fans from all walks of life, all with different views and who watch bolton in different groups home and away.

Plus it has more traffic than most of the other bolton forums put together.

Instead of ignoring, blocking and dispelling the views of folk on here, twitter and elsewhere they should be gauging reaction and promoting their concept.

So, nobody wants to run it.

Fold the cunt.

Simples.

That's my whole issue with them and this ACV jobby. Who gave them the right to do this on behalf of all bolton fans?

6 blokes armed with a survey monkey have taken action against our club owners wishes without gauging the general consensus of bolton fans.

They had no right to meddle on behalf of all of us.

If no fucker wanted to get involved then, what the heck makes them think it'll be any different now or in the future? Writing is on the wall, even with their band of happy clappers "steering" behind the scenes.

is there anything in their constitution that stops the board winding them up

might be worth getting elected just for that

or how does a vote of no confidence get an airing

I'm up for a vote of no confidence, seconding it, whatever.

It would be interesting to see how a candidate running on a no confidence in the current board mandate would do.

Manning article on LOV twatter saying club for sale 25m .

Club prospectus says that, not me
