Sunak has at the very least just got on with the job. Not brill, but a step in a better direction than the circus that Bumbling twat lived in.

End of the day, trying to sort Northern Ireland out is impossible. They all fucking hate each other and have no genuine interest in getting along.

It’s an albatross around the neck of the UK and if Ireland are willing to give us a few quid for it, I’d be selling it at the earliest opportunity.

Send all the small time scotch sectarians over as part of the deal.

I’d even vote for Boris if he put that in the manifesto.

Is it right you can use a senior citizen railcard, but not a student one?

Really cant see it as theyd be leaving themselves wide open to accusations they were favouring geriatric gammon who are more likely to vote tory than a student

MrsD and I have postal votes. We probably won’t need ID to cast our vote. I assumed the voter ID was to prevent the local Imam from voting on behalf of his flock. I’m not sure it will.

That's right Cas. Although, a younger person is more likely to have a passport, driving licence etc, than an older person.

You don't need I.D if you have a postal vote (yet), as your signature & date of birth as used as your personal identifier. 

The problem is postal voting fraud though. There is very rarely personation in a polling station.

 

The new deal in NI looks very promising, the question remains why it took the EU so long to agree to something that was suggested by the UK a while back.

I’ve not see the detail but I do hope that duty on goods won’t be charged on goods imported from UK where duty has already been paid at the same rates by UK business.

This would prevent divergence of trade to the EU and would show good faith on the EUs part and would help Irish business and help reduce inflation over in Ireland.

The EU have compromised but ensured the EU got what they wanted.

The Iron Lady Ursula just did her job. Rishi Sunak has too.

Now, NI gets some of the benefits of EU membership whilst staying part of the UK.

Let's wait and see what the DUP say. Some things have improved but, if (as Van Der Liar says) the ECJ will remain the final arbiter then NI is not being treated exactly the same as the rest of the UK then is it?
