Kent's the most racist part of the country that I've ever been to though to be fair. And you're right - you hardly ever see anybody who isn't white (unless they're on a school trip).

I know, it's also flag in the garden central. And openly racist, it's like just normalised round here in a way I've never known back home.

Always a classy look that! 🤣

Again the lad shows he has no grasp on real life and choses to gain all his super knowledge from political podcasts.

Exactly what's wrong with politics in general.

Head in the fucking clouds.

Not really, of course we have issue in parts of the country, but that's also to do with economics and repeated failures of governments of which 2nd and 3rd generation legal immigration is being blamed for.

Again, the numbers don't stack up, and the weakest argument of all is, well it's not proper like that round here. Especially to someone who grew up in Bolton and went to a school that was 50% British Asian even in the early 90s.

Listen to some facts rather than a perception. I get it, areas have changed, the street I grew up on has, my mum and dad have two empty houses either side of them now their neighbours of many years have died and two young Asian couples have moved in, funnily enough they are all teachers so nothing much changes 😁

Tax dodge innit. Like all of the UK tradies definitely don't do! 😉😁

Tradies? That’s a broad and frankly class term. ‘Directors’ is a better one. Lots of them about. I thought Labour were going to sort it out. I was wrong.
It’s tax avoidance by the way, not tax dodging.👍

Hardly, the whole of east Kent seems.to be built on cash in hand trades. No big employers, pubs filled at 4pm, empty at 7pm (Fridays 2pm start)

It's not a class thing, I think Kent was pointing out the irony that it's OK for one but not for the other.

No. I did that.

If only you didn’t give out your personal details on here we wouldn’t know about your ‘tax avoidance’ 😉

As you well know, it’s not about ‘cash in hand’

That is a fact. I’ve not made it up to try and win an argument.

You like to see these things quite simplistically don’t you? ’ These things have happened in wars before & they’ve got to defend themselves’

It’s black & white with no attempt to look at anything in more depth.  That’s what makes it seem so daft when you use it as an excuse every time something grim happens over there.

Never an attempt to look at the scale or make proper comparisons. When asked,  you couldn’t even provide evidence of the UK using ethnic cleansing or withholding aid in the conflicts you tried to compare with. So the daft comparisons didn’t even add up.

Hopefully we can leave it there now you got an example? 😄

Whilst I can see both sides to the argument on issues like this, it is interesting hearing people say you’ve got no grasp of the ‘real world’.

Just assuming someone has no sense of reality because they don’t share the opinion. It’s a peculiar argument to make.

Give over class! 🤣 Most of them are posher and have got more money than I ever will have.

Mind you - I pay VAT on everything. And my income tax! 👍

Well, it's not surprising considering for most we are just social media texts on a message board so everything is taken as very face value.

But the idea that someone has no idea of a perceived reality because they have moved elsewhere and do a slightly odd job in a creative industry is just as bad as those idiots in North London in million pound gaffs not understanding why Reform has so much traction.

Same here.
Don’t forget NI.👍

I picked up on your ‘Tradies’ comment because they (working class tradesmen) are just the tip of the iceberg. We can all benefit from a cash job but the majority of businesses that ‘avoid’ tax are not dealing in cash. It’s all about tax rules. The rules need changing. We are all in it together👍

People have absolutely no idea how hard it is not to pay tax when you're self employed or a small business owner.

That ship sailed a long time ago.

What you’re struggling to grasp is people just making things up (lying) and someone using comparisons. Quite ironic we have one of the sites biggest bullshitters backing another. Who’d of thunk it hey.

Maybe because you waffle about podcasts and Orwellian drivel as some kind of diversionary tactic to oppose people's views.

Like patting folk on the head saying ah you wouldn't understand.

You know, a bit like when folk thought this grooming gang scandal and cover up was just some form of right wing conspiracy. Turns out those who were amongst were right all along.

The same as they'll be with the spread of Islam and absolute car crash of this Asylum problem.

People like you just don't listen.

Taxes make the world go around, sorry! 😁

I feel the same way about people who don't park on double yellow lines or can't queue properly!

What is wrong with people who do not park on double yellow lines

Can someone explain how we actually fix the issue?

If say a thousand are arriving today, how many arrived in France, Spain or Italy? Does anyone know?

And if we are pissed off about it, how about the rest of continental Europe?

How on earth can this be "fixed"?

Hmmm, depends on your client base, you mentioned most of your clients are companies so will go through books. When I was self employed 100% through books.

But if you are a bathroom/kitchen fitter working for people it is very easy to have a significant % of your income cash in hand. I have an acquaintance who had to put 3 months money fully through his accounts so he could a mortgage. His accountant showed him how to do it !

Even with money going through the books there is a lot of leeway for tax free ‘expenses’ to go through. I was paying upto £40k directly into my personal pension so no corp. tax or income tax. People on PAYE could do the same.

The only time when NIC will wake up to reality sadly is when a boat full of diverted migrants disrupts his dip in the sea
