Reform were saying he’s wanting to legalise heroin and cocaine, so I’m having a mooch down to Gorton later to score some free smack.

You won’t be able to get into the town. It’s open borders now thanks to the Greens so it will be full of migrants. The illegals have marched down the road. MMW. YHIHF.

No issues shooting heroin outside Gorton Tescos as long as you don't do it wearing a Jewish skullcap...

Good to see Nigel and Goodwin taking it on the chin and sucking it up as you would expect with their traditional British stoic bulldog spirit.

Not surprisingly they are blaming ‘them’ for the defeat, ‘them’ being ‘progressive woke liberals and Islamist’s’. No thought that their policies, recruiting a load of failed Tories and dropping a jumped little rich boy southern twat into a northern seat might have been the issues.

A fairly comfortable victory really

But the running of an ad in Urdu with a picture of Starmer shaking hands with the Indian PM was grim

It'll be interesting to see how the coalition they've built over the last year or two plays out because the ideologies seem, at heart, fundamentallly different (to put it mildly) and I get the sense many in the party don't yet understand a lot of their new voters

Did Reform even canvass in these areas?

I think you might've missed the point

I used to work in an office block in Gorton

they had a gated car park

and they used to say if you are working late, don't park near the fences as the local kids will chuck stuff over the fences to smash your cars in

it was proper rough round there

the fact they are now run by the green party is most amusing

if i was a betting man I'd have backed reform all the way on that one

maybe denton swung it

A very dark day for British democracy, extremists on the left and right with their false promises. Sectarianism and "family voting" widespread.

We will now see after the May elections a leadership challenge with the excereable Starmer being replaced by someone worse from the so called "soft left". In reality left wing extremists driving any remaining manufacturing into oblivion and bankrupting our pubs, restaurants and cafes.

What absolute drama-queen nonsense.

Tony there, taking the defeat well.

I'm not sure I ever saw the Greens getting in. They'll be taking plenty of seats at the next GE I suspect, which presumably will be from traditional Labour vote. For some reason, and not for the better (IMO), politics, for the next few years is just going to become more and more extreme, with those holding the centre ground being fucked over

I don't want to see extremism of the left or right.

I am a centre right conservative.

That's where I sit, those days are gone for a little while, they'll soon come back when the likes of Reform and The Greens royally fuck everything up, which they will

Politically, we are at a fairly low ebb in the UK at the minute. As things stand though, I'm more confident than ever that Reform won't win a clear majority next time around, that's not to say they won't be in power. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to try and run with a minority Government, so that they can say, when they're voted down, that it's the establishment stopping them.

Coming down the road, equal and opposite reaction, get what you deserve, blah, blah.

So who were you hoping would win the seat?

You think the greens are extremists?

yikes

The Tories and Lib Dems lost their deposits, these are strange times.

Aye, because the Labour movement was brought about with the intention of destroying industry and manufacturing

You’ve just come across as an absolute loony bin with that post fella

She wouldn’t be my vote either, but she’s certainly no extremist ffs

get a grip

Just wait until Restore start getting involved and splitting the right wing vote even more.

Lovely stuff.

It will be interesting to see what demands the local electorate start making

I see the Greens are being accused of sectarianism, what does this relate to ?
