Boro spent a fortune in the summer, including a £15m striker, while we've got a midfield including the likes of Pratley & Deryk who can't cover the defence, can't win or retain posession in midfield, can't create chances & would struggle in div 1.

 

It's not defeatist but accepting reality to guess that we're unlikely to win this one, but when we can pick our best team against the weaker sides, we can still pick up the points to reach the giddy heights of 4th from bottom. This Saturday, i'm hoping for the best but ready for the worst !!

There are 5 poor sides in the division but we need to improve massively just to get above three of them

I realise the money have v have not argument. But bottom line is effectively u15 v u18 every week. The opponent's are bigger stronger & more skillful all over the pitch, every week and that is what you get for £8-10m. Compared to trying to wheel and deal with fuck all as shrewdly as you can.silk purse & sow's ear. Hard to take and could see off the manager,for him a tough ask and not an accurate reflection on his skills.

Getting the embargo sorted out ASAP is a priority, as we will seriously struggle with it.

 

However, most of our team are professional championship, some even premier league experienced players.

And I also blame the manager, for losing the game before it starts, with such a negative formation, 1 up front, no pressing and allowing them 66% possession.

I personally don't think Parky is the right calibre manager to bring our club forward as a Champinship club, his lack of experience is costing us in this league.
