Site Supporter HomerJay Posted October 29, 2017 Site Supporter Share Posted October 29, 2017 Me, chasing the ball will eventually catch up with the squad we need more strength and composure in the middle of the park and more possession. low possession does not mean you are chasing the ball. If they are passing about in their own half, whilst at home. let them do so.
e2e4
Yeah, I don't think its happening. Gaining points , and still bottom .. Usually the hallmark of just missing out. Hope I'm wrong.

Unlike QPR the week before, Fulham actually had possession in our half I guess it's what having a few million pound midfielder brings to the party
RUREADY2ROLL
Unlike QPR the week before, Fulham actually had possession in our half I guess it's what having a few million pound midfielder brings to the party Its because we just sat back off them and hoped we could hold out Our tactics most of the games We had 4 forwards on the pitch for the last 20 minutes doing nothing to break their play up; what was the point in Morais if we were going to defend the rest of the game and then ALF substitution was a joke. RUREADY2ROLL
We haven't got 4 forwards in the club Morais is a winger Madine - not sure after yesterdays performance but front man Armstrong - again not sure but supposed to be a forward ALF - definite forward
tomski
Is wilbraham fit? I can't believe that performance against Tim Ream yesterday. Madine is twice the size of him
Ghana White
If madine could have held the play up yesterday it would have changed the game, might as well of played le fondre he'd have won as many headers. It's a shame as Madine has been transformed this season when I've seen him, yesterday he was waste of time though added to the pressure on the defence. Jol_BWFC
Watched the highlights back unless they missed some out, would only say the Armstrong miss was the only clear miss They didn’t show the Armstrong open goal miss on the YouTube highlights. The one on there was the one the keeper saved.

Agree with this also think we pumped it long too often. Alnwick was guilty on a few occasions of lumping it back to their GK thus giving possession back uneccesarilly he got very lucky on the goal assist. To improve possession we need to mix it up and try passing from front to back now and again especially at home where we should be looking to get the lions share of possession. embankment
* yep embankment messed up !!! * Early start 6.38 train from Howfen. The Dog , dog rough !! Early no show from Sputnik. 14 of us then on the rattler from Piccadilly . Street march to the Montague Pyke. Grumpy Bat , struggling with sprained ankle. Excellent breakfast, ruined by the realisation that 3 match tickets were still stored at a jaunty angle in the retro egg basket at Embankment Towers . ( think BWFC will be champions of europe before it is forgotten ). Onto Carnaby St , which is overflowing with Wolves fans. Splinter group of Asburner St , The Dog , OurKid and yours truely. Headed to The Blackfrier. ( cheapest round if the day £13.50). Onto the Cheshire Cheese . Then tube to Putney and the 8 Bells. The Dog plus 1 decided to stay in the pub. Off to the match. Good turnout. Enhanced by late arrival of The Dog and Our Kid. Apparently they had dropped lucky another couple of Wanderers lads had over indulged and handed over 2 free ticketzzz. Good performance , pity about the equalizer. After match meet up in Billy Morrises place and the Bree Louise . (Ale NOT on form) 7.40pm train back up North. End of day drinks in Sweet Green. With 7 guys called Dave. Roll on Tuesday , only Swedish Al going from our group. Another draw will do !!!!
Moderators Casino Posted October 29, 2017 Moderators Share Posted October 29, 2017 Morais is a winger Madine - not sure after yesterdays performance but front man Armstrong - again not sure but supposed to be a forward ALF - definite forward So we had pretty much the same formation at the end that we started with If he sticks derik on for vela and we concede, you'd be among the first to whinge about 'sitting back'

Moderators Casino Posted October 30, 2017 Moderators Share Posted October 30, 2017 Armstrong and I think Morais armstrong made a very positive run when he could have run towards the corner unfortunately, morais played the ball badly if he gets it right, armstrong has every chance to miss a one on one
bolton va va
For the 2nd week running our subs weakened us. Morais was poor & kept losing possession at a time when we were desperate to keep hold of the ball, & Alf made a weak effort & missed the chance that came to him. Armstrong missed his big chance but his all round play puts him well ahead of the other 2 at the moment.
enzo gambaro
I thought it was the wrong run and a poor ball. From where they were, any ball in behind puts Armstrong in behind the defence. I’d fancy him to just run round the keeper Sensible Soccer style from there.

Thats how everyone with us saw it - Morais was just going to play his through and Armstrong goes running in the wrong direction Anyway roll on Sunderland
