Wanderers 3-1 Barnsley

Buckley wanted rid of the tracker vest following our goal. The ref made him leave the pitch Till following the kick off.

Typical of what an officious little prick he was all afternoon

  • Little has been very good since he got a run in the team. He had 2 poor games against Reading and wolves (where most did) - he wasn’t meant to be fit enough to face Reading but went on to play 90 minu

Premier League cut-off date is end December.

Football League cut-off date is end November.

19 games rather than a date isn't it ?

Great win today, I think we were worth another goal over the 90 which would have been nice!

You’ve got to fancy our chances of finishing higher than them, then again they are 4 points ahead of us on 20 which is baffling! Fuck knows how they have cobbled that together on today’s showing

I fancy us to finish ahead of them and Burton, then we need one more from Sunderland, Brum, Hull, QPR and Milwall

I think a few of them will improve, probably the boys with big budgets, that means Milwall dropping as many points as possible should be top of our wish list every weekend.

Fuck knows why anyone on here would want them to be picking up points against Sheff Utd

Agree with a lot of that but they could maybe should of stuck another 2/3 in. We could of as well but we can't keep defending like that

score doesn't matter

we are going down

Oh no we aren't.

Mid table obscurity for us.

Barnsley game in question was 87. Previous round we beat Burnley in another violence filled day. Lost to Barnsley 3-1. I did have the video from roadrunner with Dave higson.

BEN on the Monday was saying our supporters could face an FA ban if they continue to cause trouble. Those days sound mental.

Plenty off here would have been present. I was there as a youngster.

It was a mental day out

Excellent much needed. Need to start getting the odd win on the road now

Great viewing of the table this morning. Being picky but the additional 8 points we spunked recently would have been nice.

Onwards and upwards let's keep it up Forest are beatable.Velas best game for a while like the look of Buckley.

sorry about out defence though.

Bloody phone worry about our defence

No need to apologise.

Hopefully the upturn in results might help us a bit more in attracting players in January. I'm sure if we were still rooted to the foot of the table we really wouldn't look very appealing

Not to put the downer on your post given our Xmas fixture list it’s still very possible we might still be rooted in January.

We might but I don't think position really matters

So long as we have a shot at it players will come if we can afford them

Depends how much we get for vela

Cant get carried away better shooting from them & we would be singing a different tune .The possesion we concede is frightening & in the second half they did two route one moves that had us all over the place.

Wheater will be back next week which is good because our other centrebacks are average to say the least.Anyway great win Madine outstanding but nobody really close enough to him to benefit.Go against the grain & say Vela is wasted chasing down all match he is better than that.Would like to see him paired up with Henry in centre midfield more likely to drive us forward than Pratley (who was decent yesterday).Little was our mom.

According to sky sports 3 minutes highlights we got absolutely battered

continues like he is and he will be off January without doubt

out of the bottom 3, the promotion push can start now.

94 points should see us in the play offs at least..

Buckley definately made a difference. Judging by Parkys subs, I reckon the rumours about Armstrong on a play and don't pay deal could be true. Strange to bring him on when we were 2-1 up. Mark Little excellent, Alnwick excellent, nobody poor apart from the referee. On to the next one...

nobody poor apart from the referee.

I didn't think much of the linesman who was running the WSL line. He was far too reliant on the ref for his decisions. The (at least two) penalty decisions which weren't given in the first half were both in full view of this linesman yet he gave no indication to the ref. Moreso the shirt pulling incident. How he couldn't see that an XL shirt suddenly became, for a short time, XXXL was woeful from him.

I have heard from various sources that sometimes refs tell their assistants that they're there for throws, corners and offside; everything else is down to him.

Given Armstrong played for Barnsley last season I was surprised he didn’t start

I know someone who is a linesman and he can confirm refs tell them what decisions they are allowed to make

Other than he’s not fit to lace Buckley’s boots.

Agree with this and anyone wants to stump serous money for Vela I’ll drive him there myself.

But we wouldn't replace him. I'd like him to stay
