Brentford 2-0 Wanderers

Due to unforseen circumstances i now won't be going to Brentford.

I have two terrace tickets available which my lad will be taking back tomorrow.

PM me and I'll sort out you meeting up with him tomorrow. They need to be back at club for 1.30 for a refund

distribution is awful got the energy but end product wank

That's the whole team today, to be fair.

Derik's distribution is awful. Hope it's just down to lack of game time.

1-0 down.

Casino still going for the draw.

Embankment ready for a beer.

Same points but slightly better than the home result. Results have gone our way but we are getting better, fingers n toes chaps :)

I’m just so desperate for us to pull away from this horrible relegation scrap.

It won’t happen though, we aren’t nowhere consistent enough.

Everton lad comes off and he puts Buckley on

PP really doesn’t fancy Alf or Karacan does he

Not too bad a day all in all. Other results all gone our way except the Barnsley draw?

Let’s just hope no more injuries, get a couple back and a couple on loan and we have a fighting chance still

Results went ok

Poor from everyone today

Ameobi one trick pony the cut in, clubs know that

Have we literally just signed Wilbraham because he’s 6ft 3?

38 years old, and probably has much bigger wages than some of our upcoming young lads like Hall.

It seems like such a stupid signing both on the pitch and financially off it.

He’s not going to get us last minute goals.

Poor performance all round. Back 4 and keeper were ok but midfield and up front were dreadful.

Ameobi is living off his October games, crap again. Set pieces- crap.

Not impressed, even the beer was crap

In a word?

Not a surprising result really. At least nobody around us won. Move on. Really need to win next week

Madine talked himself into a yellow.

No

He didnt

No

He didnt

Madine dived full length into a yellow. Lucky he was too far away to take him out.

Probably a fair result, although referee lost control of the game. Lacked a bit of bite in centre midfield.

I swear 80% of Brentford fans are OAPs

Their manager needs to be our manager if we decide it’s time for a change. Nothing more to say.

Not seen any of the game so no comment

All can say is we are still out the bottom 3 with one less game to play

Imperative we win next week though

Sounds like we need henry back asap

When we got into good positions we had too many touches and fucked it up.

Give them too much time on the ball and our midfield was not mobile enough to close them down.

Very disappointing today and we more quality than that or we will go down.

Yeah, couple of times we looked to be through on goal then passed sideways or backwards

Thought Robinson put in good performance. Still needs to improve on his positioning and end product but clearly got some talent. Be interesting to see whether he makes the grade at Everton over next couple of seasons

Results went our way so good

But I will go back to we need another 6-8 away points to stay up

Just back & as expected, the loss of so many players left us with too many weak links & missing Henry badly.

Deryk was poor, Charnley was ( understandably ) poor, leaving Vela with far too much to try & do.

Ameobi & Morais were poor, leaving Madine isolated.

& i wish we'd stop throwing loads of forwards on to chase a game......it never works, we lose our shape & usually concede again.

2-0  was about right, Brentford are a good team going forward & we couldn't do a thing with that little ginger twat who i don't think lost the ball all day,.....just the kind of player we're screaming out for !!

& those seats must have been designed for fucking midgets.

We move on. Didn't have enough cutting edge from what I saw. Ipswich at home is where I expect more

2 good results ,

then normal service resumed.

not good enough

Missed the obvious two in centre mid. Amoebi was awful and got caught in possession far too often. Huffed and puffed a bit second half without creating to much. Thought the fans were good and backed the team. Still think we have enough (just)to stay up. Was happy checking live score leaving the ground to see the other results. Lost no ground really.

Big game as ever next weekend. COYWM

Agree with most shit performance win next week a must.Vela is not defensive mid needs to play further forward and agree ameobi was crap.

Anyone who thinks we are gonna get anything here is crazy.

Brentford will destroy us

Sorry to anyone who thought I was being miserable

Agg 5-0 loss to Brentford aint far away from how it should be in our position

Thought we’d lose, thought it was nailed on once we lost Pratley and Henry and unfortunately was proved right.

We didn’t play badly and had a few chances but always looked weak and just somehow always looked like we would lose, very much like the 1st 11 games of the season.

If we had to play Vela and or Derik in centre mid for a sufficient amount of the rest of the season then we’ll go down, neither are good enough to play in that midfield 2, anyone claiming Derik is a good player that had a Madrid pedigree and a good pass on him is completely wrong, the lad is terrible and is being pushed out of the door by Parky for a reason.

All in all we weren’t bad, you could pick up Robinson for a poor head for their 1st but he also had a lot of positives, mainly going forward. Madine wasn’t his best but could have had 1 or 2 on another day. The new lad was ok but didn’t offer much and got pushed off the ball quite a lot, nothing I didn’t expect from a lad that has only played 2 games of 1st team football - he does look like he has something about him though which is more than can be said about Buckley!!

No harm done today, of the bottom 8 only Barnsley gained a point which was more than a perfect day results wise. If we can somehow beat Ipswich next week (here’s hoping Henry is fit!) then we carry on away from that bottom 3.
