Same shit different day with you   He clearly doesn’t rate any striker we have because they are unable to do the one job HE asks them to do. Win 50 headers a game from punts from the goalkeeper

  • It's a great idea and love the fact loyal fans are getting rewarded with priority.   It might have been a good idea to tell folk this was going to be the plan for games such as this though.

Said no one ever.

Agreed. The thought of travelling anywhere in L1 simply does not appeal to me at all. Maybe I’m just pissed off with it all at the moment but can see next season being one of my lowest away followings in years

Bollocks.

So u really believe the chairman would go and buy players and tell the manager we have new recruits for you to play

Now that is really BOLLOCKS

Happens all the time in the modern game. See Conte at Chelsea basically bemoaning the players he’s been given and not given.

Not saying Parky didn’t have a say. But I think there is a vast difference between ‘hey Phil do you want Zach?’ ‘Errr not really ken’ ‘well he’s all you’re getting take him or nobody’ and PP given free hand to bring in who he wants. He clearly wasn’t.

Think Clough was offered to us by his agent late on deadline day wasn’t he? After we’d missed out on McGoldrick and the lad from Charlton. We were desperate, and it looks like we took whatever and whoever we could

I do have some favourite away grounds, Blackburn, Sheff Wed etc, but if it's to watch Parkys team I struggle to bother going anywhere. If i'm enthused about watching our team I'd be far more up for Luton away then say Wigan under parky. Just want to feel pride in the team, opposition is secondary.

Just watched the high lights and can anyone tell me why Parky played Dervite for the duration of the game?

He soon ran out of substitution’s

Clearly knew his starting line up was not capable of creating enough / any chances, so he had to make a few changes

Rather than just starting with a more balanced side

Cunt

Tbf, you was all much happier last season...

How? There were none.......

Even the bar shut at 2.30

Been difficult today having to explain the whole shambles over and over again.

Should have taken a dictaphone

What was the craic with their goalkeeper that Iles mentions in his BEN report?

All I heard was him being called a queer and the jolly green giant.

He was doing stretches and Bolton were 'oley'ing' every time he did a stretch, It was mildly amusing, honest.

It was fucking embarrassing

We were getting beat 2-0 by a non league outfit, dropping into the bottom three with 1 game to go yet we had fans ‘oley’ing’ their keeper keeping himself warm

It was fine. He reminded us, lightheartedly, that we’d only had one shot.

A very tranquil afternoon for him, but he knitted well with our fans; sign him on.

We were to the left of the goal and someone was chucking coins at the stewards at the front. Folk pointed him out so he sloped off, must have been at least 50.

Chucking stuff and sneaking off is a cowardly way to go about your hooligan business, to do it at 50 WTF.

On another note Saturday showed why we shouldn’t go back to terracing

5 minutes to kick off and you couldn’t get on the terrace for dick heads stood in the entrance rather than filtering into the terrace

We had to push our way in then found plenty spaces here and there

Some people just don’t know what to do with a terrace any more

Is Casino on suicide watch?

He's been worryingly quiet since Saturday

Good shout about the terrace , loads of people arriving at 14.55 blocking yellow exit paths , ignoring advice and guidance from stewards , standing in front of people who'd been there for 30 mins.

I dread to think what would have happened in the unlikely event of us scoring first . The yellow path had no crush barriers therefore you get a domino effect and someone would get injured . It's a yellow exit path for a reason. Safety !

Even with terrace standing like in Germany I doubt the English fan has the attitude to follow the standing rules .

Was that a rant ?

On a separate issue nottingham forest season ticket holder at work told me forest refused a full allocation of tickets based on the 35gbp cost. They are running free coaches as compensation . He was going to come to Bolton on Sunday but said " you are robbing .... "

The sponsors have laid on  10 free coaches

Safe standing is a bit of a different situation with the barrier on each row and I think you’re even allocated a spot so if nowt else is more similar to a reserved seating situation. That said, you’re absolutely right in terms of attitudes and there does need to be a shift in that. I was in the seats with my lad so could see where people were stood in the aisles on the terraces yet there was plenty of space out wide. My Mrs was in the terrace but thankfully has enough experience of terracing from watching rugby to know to just stand out wide to get a better view (and less dickheads).
