jules_darby Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 As though he’s been able to assemble the squad he wants paying peanuts and losing his best player. Harris got Gregory going this season and he’s not had to sell him. I’m not saying Parky is perfect. I’d have had Robinson in for Taylor. I think Little should play. But we have such little talent going forwards. Le Fondre works hard but would be 4th choice at Millwall. Without a doubt. He’s our main striker FFS. Looking at the stats we had more possession same number of shots. But they had double the number on target. Lack of ability around the box a huge issue at this stage of the season. Other than the Alf chance where her took a touch too many we created next to fuck all Not just because of our lack of attacking choices but because we were set up badly and didn’t expose or penetrate them at all Henry, Pratley AND Derik...WTF? Parky has to answer the question of WTF? It was a load of bollocks. Every throw in on the final third there was one option and about two players ahead of the ball The Mamager must address this absolute fuckwittery, even if he’s not designated it Stop banging his drum and admit that despite the understood limitations upon his situation, he’s not doing the job well enough Quote
Guest Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Take one for the team get a yellow Clough can sling it too league 1 player at best Certainly his appearance tonight shows why he’s not starting. Garbage. Really hard to see how practically you can change the team to solve the issues we have. Id swap the fullbacks though. Taylor is awful and Flanagan solid but offers nothing going forward. I like Parky....have to say though if Big Mick is available id be tempted. If nothing else but to strike some fear into our players for the last few games. Quote

Rizlar Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 KA is not going to sack Parky maybe at the end of the season but pointless now problem with Parky he is negative in his tactics and doubt no matter what players he had at his disposal he would still play the same way. Quote
Guest Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Did Derik do anything tonight? His name was not mentioned once on Iles blog No. And why he is still at the club is a mystery to me. Probably the most pointless player I can remember. Having said that our only other option Vela isn’t doing anything either. Neither did Clough or Morais when they came on. Other than take a poor corner and then fail to kick their man on the break. We’ve got lots of bad options right now. Quote

CumbrianWhite Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 (edited) Wheater looked to be carrying a knock, his mobility seemed to be hampered most of the game. As for beevers.. he was shocking and has been for at least half the season. Not sure what Dervite has done wrong to not be getting a chance. Wish we'd at least attempt putting little or Robinson in as both Flanagan and Taylor barely ever venture forward which left noone and ameobi with no help. Parkinson can't seem to get the team right. Must be our biggest game for a long time on a Saturday. Lose and we're down. Edited April 10, 2018 by CumbrianWhite Quote
birch-chorley Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 2nd goal. Our corner. Right to the far post . At which point Clough runs the full length of the pitch along side their player. Can some one explain why he didnt even attempt to tackle the guy. Bloody Shocking !!! I don’t think he was ever close enough to him was he? He seemed yards behind to me from the start of the run I had Flannagan dropping a bollock there, not picking up the goal scorer, but I might be wrong Quote

To be fair to Taylor I thought he had a decent first half, got up and supported Ameobi anyway Flannagan didn’t venture into their half until the game was over Quote

Take one for the team get a yellow Clough can sling it too league 1 player at best Clough's legs are (at best) 3 feet long. He was at least 6 feet behind their runner the whole way until he was inside our box. Should he take one for the team then? He's slow, he couldn't catch the guy - if he'd have tried and missed the guy would be free and clear without even that little bit of pressure on him. It wasn't even that guy who scored. Who was coming back with the the other Millwall players? Who was with the guy who DID score? Quote

Boothy Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Can’t see us staying up now, Gutted Strange but I feel quite buoyant after seeing the other results come in. Birmingham have got an atrocious run in now but it’s Satur that will define our season now. Just praying we can get something out of that.A point may see us through, if Wolves can demolish Brum. Rizlar Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 I am totally at a loss to try and figure out what team he can put out Saturday to at least not lose against Barnsley! Quote

jules_darby Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 So much went our way elsewhere tonight But what is turning up in a white shirt on Saturday; we can’t defend anymore and we create nowt Or are we due a random great result? It’s absolutely massive Quote

Needs something radical in my view. As we are we are just rolling over as it stands. Hall up front? Something different. Need some freshness imo. Quote

Rizlar Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Thinking about Saturday I would go with Little in front of Flannagan and Robinson on the other side playing in front of Taylor can't really change the centre backs , play Henry and Pratley as centre mids and try Alf and Walker up top! Quote

Thought tonight was our opportunity to make some progress given the other fixtures Just can’t see a win in us now, apart from maybe Forest at home, but I’m not confident we will even get that Edited April 10, 2018 by birch-chorley Quote

Need some pace in the side and Robinson and Little give us that Would drop Beevers and put either Devite or The Wet Spam kid in Derik can just do one and I would put Vela in who usually has an engine Rest the same as started tonight Quote
