I know a few good lads got smashed on the park last year. Do not make that mistake this year lads.

No need to head over the park. Straight down the road, head right onto St Georges then into town or straight down to the prison then down fishergate. Not much diff time wise and safer.

Moor Park always been the best way to get a slap at Preston

If you go down the road and do a right (can't remember name of the pub or road) but one of their main boozers is on it. We went back that way to that big boozer on the roundabout that was allocated to Bolton as gumbo had left his phone in there. Loads of pne around.

Just get a taxi from town, not even a fiver and saves you the best part of half an hour drinking time

We’ve usually managed to flag down a bomber outside for the way home as well

That’s the Adelphi

I was going with my mate and I was driving but he's now dropped out as he is away for the weekend. Good job we didn't get tickets.

Moor Park is the only place I've ever had a knife pulled on me, luckily a fair mob of Bolton appeared in the nick of time.

Have we much history with Preston? Seen plenty bother with Burnley and Wigan over years. Never really hear of Preston’s firm. Can’t recall them doing anything at burnden.

1985 at Deepdale, crikey.

That evening match couple of years back they were pouring out of pub on the corner to get at us Just as they were on us they spotted couple of girls in our group and biggest bloke shouted stop there's women with em. Pretty sure they'd have given us a sound kickin but for that

Preston town centre for me and the lad. Looking forward to it. COYWM!!

P.S. Make sure your mobbed up when you cross the park.

Preston was always very tasty in the 80s. Ahhh, happy days.

Post match kebab at Gazebo’s near Sumner’s(?) pub is well recommended. Piece of piss for parking down that road as well if needs be.

I’m not that old. ????

My 1st away of the past few years so we are nailed on to lose.

Is it worth bothering thinking of any other way to get there from Manc other than driving?

Thinking world of pain on replacement buses

Only other option I can think of is tram to Manc, back out to Bury, and then onwards from there. Realistic?

my lad bought his ticket today and 4 of his Man U mates will be in attendance too, apparently they just love the away day experience following Wanderers
