January 16, 20206 yr First weigh in at Man v Fat, lost 4lb (despite a shit load of chicken wings in work today), an assist and the winner on my debut! Dunno if they do one in Bolton, but I'd recommend it if you want the support and love playing. Gateway back in for me
January 17, 20206 yr 5km run done quick weight session done 5kg off since New Year’s Day 💪🏽 7 to go by end of next month. Piece of piss
January 19, 20206 yr Lost 11lbs in the first two weeks of the month. I've probably put it all back on over the last 3 days. Birthday Thursday (thanks for all the messages, folks xx ), London Friday, Ascot & London yesterday.
January 19, 20206 yr Best stop eating Quakers Porridge Oats I see. Made in the same prison as Tesco’s Xmas cards
January 19, 20206 yr Lost 6kg so far Calorie counting with a 1k cal deficit each day, leaves me with 1500 if I do nowt, 2000 if I get a 5k run in Running 4 times a week and getting back into the swing of it, did a 21min on a flat, 25 on a hill. VO2 max is coming in at 47 according to this smart watch Flatlined for three days straight at 106.2kg though, need to keep going (those RENPHO smart scales are great btw)

If you’ve lost almost a lb a day that’s a good sign that you’ll be able to lose it again Just now, royal white said: Fully agree, however do you not find that you’re weighing yourself more than you would normally? I do but nothing wrong with that

January 20, 20206 yr Think I've broken a rib, no bruising but painful as hell when I breathe in. No training is gonna do me in
January 20, 20206 yr My first park run on Saturday trying to choose between the two local runs to find the flattest one!
January 20, 20206 yr I'm still a bit baffled by this. Expend more than you put in your mouth. I run three times a week, mix of 5km - 15km, not training for anything at the moment so generally 5km three times a week. I drink more than I should, and eat cheese more than I should. When I was properly training went down to 12 stone, which at 6 ft 2 with a looooong face wasn't the best look. Now at 12/13 stone and feel good, running not as quick but enjoying it. I think the trick is, not doing fads, but finding something you can fit into your life and except than things change depending on where you are in life. I couldn't function without a run at least twice a week. Other people are different, find your own way.
