It does. Assuming an average of 2000 for a woman, that's 40% gone.

If I'm managing a reduction of around 500 calories from 2500, that's a 20% drop.

Will yes but that's the whole point of a low calorie diet

There's plenty of them out there aiming at numbers like that, it's do-able whilst eating decent enough like omelettes and salads etc

I'd be more inclined to have 1700 myself and go for a 5k run

I've tried everything to lose weight in recent years.

Weights seem to be the only thing that really makes a difference.

Weights burn calories long after you've finished ️

Cardio only burns when you do cardio.

There's a body trax machine at Bolton Community Leisure centre apparently, wherever the fuck that is.

It's ace. It tells you everything!

Trouble is - I'm now so massive that I can't fit through the turnstiles at the match. They have to let me in through the corners where the ambulances comes out because it's the only entrance that can accommodate my guns 😁

According to my watch, 900 calories burned today through an 11k run and a 3km walk round a park/gardens near us.

Which will now be replaced with bank holiday beers and wine.

The point it to drop steadily and healthily.

Not by so much that problems may occur.

I think you can eat perfectly well and safely on 1200 a day

Eg

You can input recipes and how many portions it makes

The first one contains a warning about potential for hypos.

It is the sudden drop off of calories that can be problematic.

The body will gradually adjust to the lower calories, but suddenly dropping significantly has its risks.

Scientific studies of folk fasting in Ramadan illustrate risks and benefits.

Obviously not quite the same, but still periods of low(no calorie) intake.

Sudden, dramatic weight loss, is less sustainable too.

Gonna admit, it's a struggle,  I have to put my arms in front of me and squeeze through, joys of having a 50 inch chest :p
