That Nixon story is utter bollocks.

When Holdsworth and Ken took over the deal was a £15 million charge on the ground, plus £2.5 million a season in the premier league, + £2.5 million for every promotion.

So that's £17.5 million. Plus the Blumarble loan, that's £22.5 million.

Woop de fucking doo! Nixon can add up and round up

FFS read the shit in the public domain.

Nixon knows the square root of fuck all and is playing you all to read the sun.

Plus 7 million to James, 2.5 million to BW plus HRMC, plus 2 months salaries, and other unpaid bills, it won’t be far off 40 million.

Isn’t that the £15m they left in when they sold to Ken and Deano - charge against them selling the assets only payable on reaching Premier league - if the assets are sold as per administration then the £15m needs paying

+ £8m further more resent investment that’s been widely reported

Let's say we owe 40 million

Let's say 10 million covers secured creditors, wages, HMRC

The other 30 million....what are we expected to do to try to raise whatever we are required to pay of that

Is it a fixed percentage we have to Pay?

Are we expected to sell assets?

25% of unsecured debt and 100% of secured debt.

12 points is 4 wins, if we get this shit sorted and get a proper team together we shouldnt have a problem in L1. It's just making sure that we're not back here again in afew years.

Looked at this season's table a while back, can't remember for certain but in same circumstances we'd need upper mid-table form to stay up by a point.

Nobody has ever suggested anything more than moonshifts 8 million is secured

This isn't asset stripping sell off, it's survival

Are HMRC secured

I'd hope so as it would probably keep them quiet

Where do I start? Debt to James, BW, Salaries and recent debt is different, and you clearly know this. HMRC the same.

I still say BollocksSoapyTitwank. Anyone who says they know what's going on is a lying shitbag.

From day 1 they had £15m left in the club charged against assets, a soft loan that would only need paying back if we reached the Premier League

However If an administrator wants to sell everything off then that charge will need lifting / paying surely

Unless the Davies family waive it

The £8m they are owed came later I think

Manchester United top the list

The only team sitting above Brighton & Hove Albion in the list is Manchester United, who owe a staggering £495.9 million. The difference between the two clubs however is that the Red Devils have paid in excess of £700 million in interest to the banks since the Glazer’s took control back in 2005. This is why the family are not liked by a large portion of the United fan base, because the club are in such debt to them.

However, it has to be factored in the amount of revenue and assets the club has. The debt is currently sustainable after the amount of success Sir Alex Ferguson brought to the club in the Glazer’s early years in charge and the good times may yet be coming back to Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has begun turning things around and they are third favourites to win the FA Cup this season with odds of 6/1 with bet365.

Arsenal are third on the list owing £205 million, Liverpool sit fourth with £201 million whilst Tottenham Hotspur are fifth on £180 million. However, Spurs are likely to leapfrog all bar United into second place once the next accounts are published due to borrowing money to build their brand new stadium, which is still yet to be finished.

Top 10:

  1. Manchester United – £495.8m
  2. Brighton & Hove Albion – £207.1m
  3. Arsenal – £205.3m
  4. Liverpool – £201.7m
  5. Spurs – £180.4m
  6. Sunderland – £161.7m
  7. Newcastle – £152.3m
  8. Stoke – £122,7m
  9.  Cardiff – £115.1m
  10. Blackburn Rovers – £112.8m

£40m it’s peanuts when you look at the above,

I think it’s the other way, James, Brett Warburton, Davies, Ken all secured debt against, hotel, car parks, ground, Lostock

must only be £12m unsecured, of which we need to pay a minimum 25% (£3m) under EFL rules

It’s a full sell off unless some of the secured guys take a big haircut (or roll the debt into equity)

Peanuts in the grand scheme of premier league things yeah, but at the other end of the spectrum a club could feasibly go to the wall over a 50k debt

Not when you consider turnover

It's about 4x our turnover and we have a spotless owner

Sunderland are debt free

Brighton in £200m debt and will most likely be relegated in the next few years, sounds familiar...

Some big numbers there but relative to income and assets

Spurs will owe half a billion but I bet the ground is worth double! What did Shad Khan offer for Wembley?

A lot of the others are paper debts to owners, like when we owed £200m to ED, he basically owed himself £200m for what that’s worth

MJ won't want his cash, yet

Probably same with BW

Ken is owed 5 but I reckon 5 of the Moonshift debt turns out to be Kens debt to them post blumarble

I'm pretty sure ED/Moonshift are in for between 5 and 8, as Howard explained

Fwiw, a man in a pub told me earlier that MJ is a proper fan and the departure of bassini is good news

And he remains very upbeat

So, let's all calm down

Well MJ was at Pisa that makes him credible as proper fan in my eyes.

I don’t for one minute think bassini and KA were in cahoots.

I’m with spider in that KA entertained Bassini, called his bluff and saw it through to an end that was predicted from the start.

He will now say I’ve tried and this is what you’re dealing with trying to sell a debt Laden football club.

Admin tomorrow, paid for by probably him.

Lets not forget the high court won’t have admin on the table with hmrc. It will be liquidation.

So it’s admin before we go to that hearing.

Is where, optimistically, I'm at trying to ignore all the JCL accountants on here

I'm also with spider on the fact that this will rumble on over the summer, more in hope than expectation, as I have a genuine fear that liquidation is a distinct possibility

Somebody, somewhere, will maybe think "fuck it, pull the plug on this circus", and we will be the first of a number to disappear down the plughole as the EFL disappears like the band on The Titanic - bravely playing a tune whilst it's supporters happily dance sinking to the murky depths
