Site Supporter Spider Posted August 26, 2019 Site Supporter Share Posted August 26, 2019 The wages are the thing. 150 people need paying. Thats (and this is utter guesswork) at least £300k No one has that ready to go. Being negative for a moment, if the wages aren’t paid, I’d say it’s game over. It’s FV or we are gone and admins will inform the EFL of liquidation commencing immediately and the EFL will revoke our membership with the consent of the club. The 14 days are usually a safety net that as per bury is used to salvage something we have run out of cash as I pointed out would happen 10 days ago and as such the game is up Wednesday

Now this is what I really don't understand. Some clubs with a full squad manage on crowds of 3-4000 and pay everyone. At the moment we only have 5 professionals and kids so who are all these 150 people and even with the crowd on Saturday why cant we balance the books? barrycowdrill
There isn’t another buyer. Certainly not for the football club costs continue and the admins will not carry on managing it the EFL and the admins are both sick to death of this circus it’s tomorrow or never. The only saving grace is if there is adequate movement to apply for an extension Eddie cared about the club. His estate do not care anywhere as much. Ken doesn’t care at all there are no other options, no alternative plans it’s down to them 2 parties only to come to an agreement which saves the club. By tomorrow. The end Edited August 26, 2019 by barrycowdrill

Because most of the current books are debts racked up when we had more players, and because Ken didn't inject enough in to cover the old debts, he borrowed more, and didn't pay the bills. Obviously more complex than we think, but no first team, manager, nor assistant manager. Shit crowds maybe, but it's hard to understand how fv or anyone could get remotely close to balancing books once a team and manager appointed. It looks like the redacted name has the same address as Ken which might suggest that Mrs Ken was favourite. I'd have thought that Moonshift wanted more than the (next to worthless) BL shares as security for the loan so there may be another personal charge in favour of Moonshift which might also include the redacted name, if you follow my logic. P.S. Best offer Ken got for the shares was £200K so who'd lend £5m based on that as the only security? RUREADY2ROLL
If the Administrators stated that season tickets are going on sale with the risk of the club going bust half way through the season I would buy one even though I rarely go to home matches. 10000 x say £200 average cost would raise £2 million and keep us afloat for a long time with low wages. Who would buy?
