I believe a lot of foreign investment stemmed from the fact they could lose millions in English football and write their losses off against tax in their own countries while still having a chance of getting a payday if the promised land is reached.

Just checked. Burnden Bogs and I didn't say Maggie Tetlow was NOT a Bolton fan in her yoof, we both said we didn't recall her being. The closest we got to to being positive she wasn't was me saying I was "fairly sure" Happy to correct.

Huddersfield made £23m profit to June 18. Tidy sum but no doubt we will be declaring a profit in our accounts even though we're one step from liquidation
