thing about GOT is, whilst there are dragons and an army of the dead, for the most part, it's not so much fantasy as just watching everyone trying to outwit and kill each other because they want to sit on the throne  - could easily be based on actual history in that respect (e.g. no different to a program on the war of the roses or ancient rome, etc) - makes for great TV

plus there's loads of tits
