I imagine the brakes are fairly ineffective against the steam catapult used to fire it off the deck.

Looking at some of the replies on the initial twitter article, it seems there may not actually be one. Not required because of the aircraft's low speed take off needs.

Seems there aren't, but are being considered for future aircraft.
