  • Don’t think ever felt as proud to be a Bolton fan. 2 kids, the wife, peteski and my old man kicking and heading every ball at the end like it was the World Cup final.  We are in it together

  • Our lot gutted, but well done your kids - showed a lot of heart (and got stuck in). Good luck for the rest of the season.

Do you know he’s wrong?

I'm not bothered if he is or if he isn't.

Its irrelevant.

Would you explain how/why somebody who doesn't own the club would be in a position to set pricing?

To be fair the fact we signed players at weekend means someone is making or at least influencing the decision.

I wonder given we have to give away fans same price what were people expecting ?

I would have made kids a fiver personally.

This is why I don't get the outrage from some.  21-27 quid is about the going rate these days for league 1 footy, yet I've just seen Saturdays price described by Burnden Aces as 'eye watering'. Get to feck.  There's a whole other argument about whether footy is over priced in general, but 24 quid for us, in what would be a cat A match, is about right imo

Irritates the fuck out of me this categories bollocks especially in these lower leagues everyone is as shit as everyone else who are the cat A teams in this league , what is the criteria for the categories?

Breightmet, fuck the call to arms. If people can't be arsed coming because it's 24 quid and they've got the means to pay it, it's just beyond some arbitrary limit they set in their minds when we nearly went to the wall then fuck em.

We'll take their money when it's £52 a ticket when we're back in the big time!

Don't moan about shit on here or twitter or hogarths if you can't tip up this weekend.

Ha. Like that's going to stop me 😀

I wouldnt have thought they would but i dont know for sure. Someone called Iles a prick for saying they had a say but no one knows for sure.

If takeover is due to be completed before Saturday is it not possibke FV could have had a say in pricing? Iles might know something after all, who knows?

Similarly, who's signing players then? The admins?

You started moaning about red seats two years back despite them being there forever! I'll let you off!

Just get to the match lad. I'll PayPal you £4 and bring a step ladder so you can feel you are upper lower tier.

Why can’t they do cash on the door? Folk like my old man can’t print a ticket, he’s relying on me. Be plenty regulars like him trying to sort a way of getting a ticket

Cash on the door, with a round £20 and £10 for kids could work / keep the queues flowing so nobody is fucking about with change. Even if it was just one stand cash on door with unreserved seating and others pre book

Understand the upper tier piece to a certain extent but what does that bring capacity down to, 18k? Take the away end out and I imagine it will be pretty full given the sentiment from the Wycombe game. Could end up getting quite difficult booking groups together on line. I’d have thought it worthwhile opening up at least one upper tier to take the pressure off

All this talk of raising money, will FV actually see any of it or will the unsecured creditors just get an extra £0.005 in the £1?

Main thing is, the games on, see you all there!

You've been merged in memories as one. Apologies.

You are the upper tier guy though....

Book tickets. 9am back of the lower tier, you won't even notice.

Club appreciates it!

Nah, decision's been made.

Enjoy the game!

Makes me laugh how people will be moaning that a 25M takeover is hard and asking for FV to pay more to get it done then lose their minds over being asked to fork out £24. £4 more than the weekend.

This is surely a time to remind everyone of the potential of our club and help encourage those buying us to see that. Not to have wobbly bottom lips over a few quid here or there. Club needs saving.

Conversely, there are people who'll defend to the death random businessmen taking us to the wall to earn a few quid, and the admins earning millions out of this, but call regular fans shithouses for not being willing to fund their game of chicken.

Still, in the mess we're in, the chief targets are players who won't give up wages, fans who won't pay over the odds for tickets and Marc fucking Iles. Mind boggling.

It’s a business in administration. Doesn’t matter what it is administrators make a living from it - otherwise they wouldn’t be in that profession. Are you saying they should treat it any differently?

And who is defending the bloke who put us here? Don’t see that.

Fans want rich owners pouring money in great players and cheap tickets. Fine. But it’s not reality is it?

It's a sly dig at cheese who admitted to going watching a film during a match at middlebrook despite being very vocal on here at the time

Don't be like cheese

If you bow out, bow out gracefully! 😉

Other clubs have signed players while in administration

So, possibly

The fuckers still owe me and many others for Brentford. How hard would it have been to send out a freebie to all last year’s season ticket holders?

Goodwill instantly created, season ticket holders more likely to renew. Piece of piss to do, it’s a win win.

But no, let’s squeeze every last drop from the fucking mugs.

It’s bollocks.

Did you miss the bit where we haven't got any money?

Was it Bowtun Baked, hung himself when realised 0.01% of seats are red ?

So, possibly

If we sign some decent players, our admins might start charging £35 a ticket - based on the outcry about the £24 ones, that should be ok though as it won’t be the U23’s

Do not go then. But as mentioned if there is no club in the future do not complain.

By random business men do you mean FV ? Or KA ?

Who are the players that have been blamed for not giving up money ? Are you defending Josh McG ?

Should the admin do the job for free ? They charge a load as they do to any business our size. If they do not do their job we cease to exist.

Marc Isles gets grief because as an esteemed local journalist he has failed to remain neutral and instead of reporting the story has picked sides. Deano and ST are untouchable to him. But he is quick to have digs at FV re the pricing

Whichever side of the ticket pricing you fall down, now is not the time for finger pointing, we need to stick together.

Vote with your feet but slagging off a group who are trying to save us isn’t going to help. Just hope those who stay away on Saturday come back once season tickets are on sale. The club needs as many paying customers as possible in these bleak times. It will get better eventually, let’s be part of the ride
