Dear BWFCST,

If any of your high net worth individuals fancy pitching in now might be a good time.

Kindest Regards,
Paul

Highest ever gate at reebok v Leicester was a ticket offer. So was highest ever attendance in Europe.

Then there was that Grimsby game,i think this game with right pricing would have been like that nudging 20,000 IIRC.

Looking round a few other clubs ticket pricing in our league and tbh £24 seems to be middle of the road pricing for Cat A games (based on looking at half a dozen clubs)

Think the reaction to the ST is over the top.

Some of the language in their is too harsh to give it any credibility but the sentiment does reflect that being expressed on social media.

Irritates the fuck out of me this categories bollocks especially in these lower leagues everyone is as shit as everyone else who are the cat A teams in this league , what is the criteria for the categories?

Purely down to how many away fans are expected. Match day sales will generate at least as much from away fans as home fans if they bring 2 or 3k, so let's make money out of them (rightly or wrongly).

FV did the pricing, it seems, based on the costs they would incur to get the game played. Lot of historical bills to pay for it to happen.

So FV are basing cost to put the game on for ticket pricing, this ain’t going to end well for them.

Their first call should have been our very own Mick Brown

I'm not having it that FV have had anything other than a token involvement given they're no more the owners that even anyone on here. Surely the final call goes with the administrator?

They'd be perfectly within their rights to say they aren't paying a penny as the administrators would have to put the game on regardless as has been the case with previous clubs.

The administrators would have to put the game on....with what money?

But if the club has no money to put the game on, the administrators can’t put the game on. Fixture postponed.

That could lead to a potential further points deduction or other penalty, which FV want to avoid.

How / why are FV paying to put on a game for a club they do not own ? Isn't it the administrators job to fund until a takeover is completed?

Its the administrators job to run the business IF cash is available to run it with. If cash runs out then they have to liquidate the business.

They can only fund it from the money in the business. If there is no money in the club, they can’t fund the administration. Liquidation follows and club doesn’t exist.

The costs of hosting the game would only be played once it has taken place so the ticket money would account for it you'd have thought, plus we must surely be due some EFL money?

It seems pretty straightforward. The admin have to run the club as close to break even as possible.

To do this they have come up with a price, they have agreed this with the preferred bidder.

There is not the option to use this game to thank and reward fans for their loyalty. Until we are out of Admin all decisions will be based on the idea of minimising losses.
