  • Don’t think ever felt as proud to be a Bolton fan. 2 kids, the wife, peteski and my old man kicking and heading every ball at the end like it was the World Cup final.  We are in it together

  • Our lot gutted, but well done your kids - showed a lot of heart (and got stuck in). Good luck for the rest of the season.

Don't know if this has been covered elsewhere but I are there match buses today?

Asking for a bus wanker friend.

I'd knock off a few hundred for holidays

And a few thou who are just not really fans

Piss poor, really.

Really? I’d beg to differ. Could hit 10k

When I heard tickets had only gone on sale yesterday I thought we'd only shift about 4000 tickets. So more than exceeded my expectations, even the amount Coventry are bringing.

Given the timescale excellent numbers

if we had a week would of been 16k if not more

Will the kiosks be open does anyone know? And if they are do the club benefit from me using them? Thinking of supping in the ground instead of the usual watering holes if the club gets some cash...

Yes, normal times as per last season's timetable.

Why

Full credit to the folk getting the game on and those selling the tickets

But to us fans, it takes 10 minutes to buy

So what's the issue with only having a day?

Dunno but I'd not bank on it

Hotel is probably open

We (Coventry) would have shifted quite a few more, given time,  but the train prices for late bookings have stopped a fair few, plus the odd one or two who are consigned to their garden sheds (like Mick Brown nearly was), Should be an emotional atmosphere. Sure there will be a few anti EFL, Bassini songs going!

8500 Sold , 1800 of those Coventry fans..... Tickets still on sale for Print at home online for any deciding to turn out last minute .

I read the Ben as 8500 sold plus 1800 cov.

Not having the train excuse either :)

surely train folk would've bought before this game was in doubt

I've got train tickets for Aug 31 bought early june

My fag packet maths leaves us with around 5,000 regulars who won't be there this afternoon. Which is more than a third of our core in recent years.

I hope not, certainly from the home fans. Get behind the kids, today is not the day for protests and negativity.

My point, however badly made, if you want to go, one day or one month makes no difference

Also it isn't that far in a car. OK someone gets to drive but it's bollocks to say train prices stopped folk going.

Very excited about today.

Fully expect a defeat but know I'll be watching 11 players wearing a Bolton shirt giving it their all.

Can't wait.

Come On You Whites!!!

If that's the case, not a bad effort, but I still don't think enough people realise how dire things are

Enjoy your day. Fair play to that turn out

Why don’t clubs regularly sell with one days notice then working on that theory. Save money on ticket staff etc etc?

Betting kiosks are closed according to the lifeline twitter

The Golden Gamble ticket is back on sale tomorrow with great cash prizes and three new prizes from our new partners at Pizza Hut, Chiquito and The Courthouse Restaurant & Bar. As there will be no betting facilities tomorrow please get your support behind the Club's lotteries

Like I said, to the buyer it really makes no odds, especially to home fans

To the staff, it makes quite a bit

Any other given season we would have 8-10k St's sold so folk wouldn't have to go to any extra lengths for tickets, we'd just rock up 10 mins prior to the match. I've been a ST for 20 years now and that was the first time I've used the online service. I'll be up there an hour earlier to collect tickets just in case there's quite a wait.
