Any other given season we would have 8-10k St's sold so folk wouldn't have to go to any extra lengths for tickets, we'd just rock up 10 mins prior to the match. I've been a ST for 20 years now and that was the first time I've used the online service. I'll be up there an hour earlier to collect tickets just in case there's quite a wait.

Piss poor, really.

I hope the thousands of non-attenders at 5pm tonight are filled with pangs of regret when they realise what they missed today.

These shithouses couldn’t be arsed making the effort in our darkest hour. What can they’re excuse be?

I know plenty and in the months and years that follow will be reminding them that how they fucked the club off when it needed them most....WANKERS!!

Like I said, to the buyer it really makes no odds, especially to home fans

To the staff, it makes quite a bit

I’d have to disagree. Thinking of a fan of your level then yes, you will wait and purchase. Others less so.

irrelevant of who is to blame the club have made it difficult to get people at this game whether it’s 1 days notice or no season tickets etc.

Another way of looking at it is this is probably the biggest walk on crowd we’ve had at £20 or over for a good few years on less than 24 hours notice.

I’m sure if they had been on sale immediately following Wycombe the attendance would have been north of 15k

Fantastic effort from Coventry fans at short notice

If we get over 10k on today with only 24 hours to purchase tickets it has to be seen as encouraging, with the under 18’s playing as well don’t forget!

Would certainly have capitalised on the post-Wycombe feel-good factor.

I did get home last night and told junior he was a disgrace for not coming in favour of going out for his birthday

His mother scowled at him

He bought himself a ticket and will leave on the hour

For now, he's not disowned

Yes however

with the uncertainty of on or off people have lives away from bwfc

Come on mate, even you bury lads are turning out

There'd be no lives outside football issues if it was United today

Anyway, let's be positive

The ones who are turning out deserve a football club

He can expect a rendition of "We Can See You Sneaking Out!" from the D family and the Rochdale Boot Boys.

I hope to fuck he's not one of hundreds all sneaking out on the hour.

My fag packet maths leaves us with around 5,000 regulars who won't be there this afternoon. Which is more than a third of our core in recent years.

Our core hasn't been over 10k for many years.  Getting a child S/T for £70 is one thing, calling them core support is another, because half of them dont turn up every week.  The 8500 or whatever have been sold, are actually turning up presumably.

Agree on the 6700

Lets see before we slag off our own shall we Rat? Every single one of us making effort today (inc Cov) is worth 100 armchair fans

Last week I went to Wycombe, Monday Edgbaston, last night Old Trafford. In town now and 2 trains have been cancelled. The next one is 14.25 and there are a load of Coventry and Bolton fans still in town who will all want to catch that train. I may miss the KO but I will be there, eventually.
