  • Don’t think ever felt as proud to be a Bolton fan. 2 kids, the wife, peteski and my old man kicking and heading every ball at the end like it was the World Cup final.  We are in it together

  • Our lot gutted, but well done your kids - showed a lot of heart (and got stuck in). Good luck for the rest of the season.

If he's smart he'll offer to pay the club's debt to North West Ambulance.

Anyone been online recently- any estimates of total sales?

I see they're closing the shop to maximise collection rates prior to kick off.

Sorted my ticket now, I'd underestimated just how far you had to zoom in to be able to select a seat on a phone. Thanks to all that gave advice.

Plenty left in ours but only a few left in the away end lower tier it looks like as it's only showing one block in the corner with odd seats showing, I'm quessing that all the greyed out blocks are sold out. Only a few left in the upper tier block that's showing as available to them. Impressive turn out from them it looks like.

Aye just had a look. I think the gray areas are sold. That means they must have flogged around 4500.

seriously?

great effort if so, have they not just been given one block in the upper tier though?

either way, fair play to em.

Looking forward to this, just hope our fans are realistic  in their expectations, as much as we did well at Wycombe we didn't have a shot on target compared their 523.

With the adrenaline the kids will get playing in front of a home crowd, I’m hoping for a similar result to last week

They have sold just over 2,000 according to one of theirs. Got just over half of the bottom tier, which they have sold out. Now into the upper tier.

exactly mate

Makes sense. Our upper tiers are gray too.

Still, decent effort nonetheless.

If we could get a song thread for the young lad who is playing up top for us... Imagine how he would feel!

Correct, they were only given around 1,900 in the lower tier and now have a few hundred more tickets in the upper tier. It's an excellent effort from them in half a day  but they're probably not at half the 4,500 mentioned

Why not just give them all the bottom tier?

Odd

When there's Bolton fans whinging it's too short notice, I'm saying full marks to all of theirs

I was wondering that. Cheaper to police / steward if they are in the middle, away from the home fans on either side?

There'll be good reason

Be to do with the SAG

The configuration for Saturday is the cheapest way of doing it. Too many in the lower tier means extra police/stewards because of a smaller margin between both ends.

If we just have them the upper, we’d have to pay for extra stewards but still have to pay for the police anyway, so this works out the most cost effective way as the police presence in the lower tier means a few less stewards.

Who’s classed as a grown up?

A journalist, i forget which one, was saying no senior pros at  dinner time (on twitter)

Alnwick/Matthews, Lowe, Murphy, Oztumer, Weir.

As we’ve found out this last week, things can change. Wouldn’t surprise me if the team at 2pm is different to the one at 1pm.
